Brother it is disheartening that we still witness lose of life during childbirth. It shows the dearth in our health care system. This could happen to our wives or sisters. May God heal this Nation!

The first daughter of former Head of State and presidential candidate of the Congress for Political Change, Muhammad Buhari, is dead.

The sad event happened this evening after she was delivered of a baby in Kaduna.

Named Zulai, she was a graduate of the Ahmadu Bello University.

Confirming the incident, Buhari’s close associate and former FCT minister, Nasir el-Rufai remarked: “May the soul of Zulaihatu, the eldest daughter of General Muhammadu Buhari, rest in perfect peace.”

Not sure I agree with this. It can happen to any woman but its more prevalent in underdeveloped countries like Nigeria.

Having a baby is a risk at most for any woman. It's only by the grace of God that women survive it. Ask someone in the medical field, they will confirm .
