Courtship is not meant to take long anyway, they did the right thing.
Most times, when courtship takes long and forever, fornication is usually
the order of the day, and to top it all, one party may begin to get tired of
the other which will eventually lead to heartbreak and heartache.

I would have preferred 6 months, at least though, but it's their choice which must

I understand the perspective you are looking at it from, and yes, sufficient time is needed to know someone
you are about committing your entire life to. However, when it comes to marriage, there is no particular and
specific template design by man that can be absolutely relied on as the master plan; even the best of the marriage
councilors are even having marital crises!

So it goes beyond "time" as a factor! we have seen those who spent years courting and understudying themselves
who failed, while some who also took long courting succeeded. We have also seen where some didn't court for long
yet their marriage lasted, while some others with short timeframe ended quickly!

so my brother, the only template that can guarantee a successful marriage is the bible whose author is God himself!
when husband follow and play his part and wife also follow and play her own part, then we can reduce the problems
