There is a very active thread on Mutual Funds where many have invested & update regularly on Stanbic Money Market & other Mutual funds.

Don't waste your time on it. It's nothing to write home about. I once invested but the interest is very low and it could still wipe out at any time. For about 6 months I was only able to realise about a #1,000. Look for something better to invest your money

Yeah I have. The truth is dis: d interest paid on ur fund fluctuates.
if you are doin a regular check on ur acct u will notice it had a steady daily top up of Interest frm say July to Oct dis yr.
It just started fluctuating late Oct . Dou it's not dt bad as some pple paint d picture. Op it comes up again

D capital you have in der depends d interest you get.
Your interest too is affected if you kip making withdrawals.
It's still beta Dan putting ur money in a savings acct.

As at the tym I followed Dem up around last mnth ND all things being equal, a capital hovering around #260k wit Dem should give you a daily Interest of #80naira

That's about 29k per year which is about 11%. Not bad

They have increased it to 12.11% ND a fund hovering around #300k wit Dem dt u don't withdraw will give u an interest of #100naira daily if u do ur maths very well.

#10k gives you an interest of Abt #4 to #5naira daily as at early last mnth oo dt is if their interest rate hz not chng

I am guessing u had less than 100k in the MMF at that time.

MMF interest makes more sense when u have at least 100k there. For instance the interest for 3 months on 100k should be about 2700 naira with a daily rate of 12%

A whole 3 months just to earn #2700 ? With that same 100k I can over 26k/monthly in other platforms, 80k profit in 3 months

It's not a ponzi scheme but their head is shaking right now so I can't introduce u to it. I invest with a forex firm , it pays far more than money market . Sometimes , it looks like blood money because of the high return . But they have their own issues like registeration/documentation with appropriate bodies.

Is the investment still active?
