One of the requirements to open a Stanbic MMF account is proof of address showing your name/surname

Well, I've not had reason to go beyond 2.5 m . I have not for once had more than that in my mmf account.

You should try out the tip as @Boyhood rightly said. Let the house know how it goes.

Yes, i have tried it before but does not go above 2.5m. That was how i knew there was a limit.

If subscription was done after 12 noon, it will reflect at COB today because any fund received after 12 noon has next business day as value date,

Depends on how you did the subscription, it it was bank transfer, you will see your money today, if not, then it will be tomorrow (2working days)

Can anybody tell me where else I can invest 10m? I have already invested too much in MMF and I'm fed up with it at this stage. I wanna try other stuff. Do you guys have any other ideas like MMF where one can make stable income of capital per month? Thanx

Im just coming across this and I'm interested. I have some enquiries for anyone kind enough to answer.
What is the minimum you are allowed to invest and minimum time before you can cancel your investments?
Also, i hear its very safe. But can someone give me an idea of the percentage of profit(averagely) that I'm expected to make?

The minimum amount varies bw 1k to 5k depending on the MMF manager you decide to go with. Minimum time is 30 days. However, if it becomes absolutely necessary that you must withdraw your cash before 30 days, you pay penalty which is 20% of your accrued Interest. Averagely rates revolve around 12% currently. PM me if you wish to go with Investment One as your fund manager. The minimum to start is 1k

When filling the Stanbic MMF form, there was a part that said:

“How much do you want to invest”

I imputed 1M.

My question is, hope I can invest higher than this with this same account later in future if I get more money or is the account now limited to the investment amount of 1M I stated on the form ?

Thanks

The account isn't limited just the amount to invest is limited.

It's like having a regular bank account and you're making a monthly savings and top ups.

Never tied to a specific amount of money

Good luck with your endeavors and God bless us all
