Schemerkhiz:Where did I say she was a DM? I said she was good defensively which is very true. About Debby, u are telling me something that I told u before. I was telling u guys she good enough for the Super Falcons months before the U20 World Cup. Danjuma benched Debby for Chioma in one of the games at the last WC so I was always sure she would make the team. Like I said earlier the man is ruled by sentiments. |

This Danjuma can't play a better 433 with Ajakaye and Flourish on? Let Lucky start. But I'm not expecting much from a handler that's no better than a nuga coach. |

Deltamani:Rash should go to France or England now. |

The NFF would always appoint a coach that fits their corrupt system regardless of the result, Nigeria has a lot of talents but so far it is not supporting corrupt pockets then it won't pay at all. This is always the problem . This is why some Nigeria foreign born would not come to represent the team because corrupt NFF would be asking them for money of all sorts eg ticket money and transport to tournaments and other freebies which suppose to be the other way round. Where was the FULL squad that represented us at the WAFU U20, why did they not retain them at all? Iam just tired totally of this same selection problem entirely. It has ruined tournaments and has also set us in disarray. It will take a miracle for the falconets to reach semifinals . I dont understand danjumas game plan at all. The girls were poor aerially , they cant shoot or take set pieces, what really happened and what is all this mess entirely? For the first 50 minutes the german coach was terrified i was looking at her face when Nigeria equalized through that error. This whole tournament is very funny entirely. I discovered its not only about technique but the funniest and stupid goals being scored and conceded cheaply by both opposing teams. It makes someone thrilled and chilled . I just wish falconets luck. |

Let's all keep an eye on group E. If the Falconets end up as runners up, we may face Japan in the second round. Anyway, first let's conquer Venezuela. |

Utah Royal FC Mutually Parts Ways With Ifeoma Onumonu HERRIMAN, Utah (Friday September 6, 2024) - Utah Royals FC announce the mutual parting of ways with Nigerian forward Ifeoma Onumonu, so that she can pursue other opportunities. "We would like to thank Ify for her contributions to the club. She has helped us take the steps we have needed to as an expansion team, both on and off the field.” said Sporting Director Kelly Cousins. “After discussions with Ify, we have mutually agreed that part ways. It was important to us to support Ify with what she wanted in her career right now. We look forward to supporting her in this next phase of her career." Onumonu, 30, was traded to the Royals in the final days of 2023 from NY/NJ Gotham FC. The reigning NWSL champion made five appearances with the Royals logging 112 minutes. A nagging ankle injury and multiple Nigerian Women's National Team call ups limited Onumonu’s role in the Return of Royalty. Most recently, Omumonu appeared in the 2024 Summer Olympic games in Paris last month representing Nigeria. Appearing in the first two group stage matches Onumonu logged 24 minutes against Brazil and 30 against Spain.

Deltamani:Just saw a video of her now singing to a Nigerian song. She's apparently in camp with the Flamingos. Whether or not she makes the final team remains to be seen. Will be weird if she doesn't sha. https://www.tiktok.com/video/7411495028599655685/ |

lovewins:There’s no way she’s isn’t going to make the U17 team… She’s good enough, by the way she’s an AM, maybe Coach Olowokore will twerk things a little bit by pushing Taiwo Afolabi to the CM role as she tends to drop deep in most of their games. Any let’s see how it goes..! After now she still have 4 more years to play as U20 as she’s just 16yrs. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by BascoVanVeli(m): 11:57pm On Sep 06, 2024 |
Deltamani:Taiwo is already the CM. U also have Shakirat Moshood and Mary Aderemi. Honestly from what we are seeing in Colombia I don't think she would have been much worse. Coach Bankole is waaay more trustworthy than Danjuma so I expect he will make the best decision. He did say if a special player comes along he would be willing to tweak the squad |

lovewins:It wouldn't be that weird. I feel this team is better than the U20s. The best players actually play on the Flamingos. |

Deltamani:I agree with you. Cameroon has been good. But they have the same points, goals and goal difference as Mexico. How come they are third? They may face Spain or Brazil in the knock out |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by solonnachi: 2:08am On Sep 07, 2024 |
BascoVanVeli:Yes. Flamingos play better with more fluidity and skill than the Falconets. |
