Despite how i criticize Omilana on here(those that know, know) i was glad that she was starting. That's how Terrible that Bakare is so far. bascovanveli go dey happy laidis now as i don praise his gk grin

Nice saves by the way. Olise technical side is average. Smh. Yina might just be the new hopeful from this squad for me. She's doing Olise Job and hers effortlessly.

Although this Venu side no sabi normally sha. So don't be carried away.

But you know that Germany are currently down to South Korea 0-1. If we can beat Venezuela by 9 or 10 unreplied goals we might just top that group

I don't think we can beat Venezuela up to 9 goals.

Okuchukwu best quality is her ball control. The rest need better sharpening. She played terribly vs Germany.
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 10:24pm On Sep 07, 2024
See Alani. Was she trying to set offside trap by running away from her marker? That's the 4th time under 60mins so far. I dunno what to call that. But she needs to totally stop such. Gave free header to that ven girl

Germany 1 - Venezuela 0
17 minutes in.
Venezuela should be easy 3 points for us.
We await 12 midnight smiley
Just like i predicted. We qualify 2nd with 6 points.
We'll face Japan in Round of 16 though.
I hear they're very co-ordinated.
They'll likely knock us out

(All 4 lines as at 63rd minute are almost certain predictions grin )
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 10:27pm On Sep 07, 2024
What is Olushola's role please? And why is Lucky not getting minutes again?

+4 for Germany

+2 for us currently

If only.

But if we meet Japan, we are officially out. Their defense is muah

I doubt it's about form. Danjuma metrics defies logic all rounda. She's fit but this man?

now i can see why danjuma benched ajakaye, the few touches she had when she came on were really poor with terrible ball judgement
no wonder she's been on the bench and i thought she was going to be the next oshoola

BTW why are our northern gals not prominent in women football

They no really get passion. The ones that have, it gets killed except they rebel. But power play can also make it impossible to rep here. See Murjanatu of bball team for example. Full support from family.

Life's a biatch.

U17 WorldCup 2022 Opeyemi Ajakaye had the time of her life, while Chiamaka Okwuchukwu (U20 WorldCup 2022) got the minutes but kept missing chances after chances.

But now Chiamaka Okwuchukwu is shinning!
2 goals, 2 assist.
I pray she gets a US school scholarship.
Very bright girl!

Oga Basco remember I told you Jordynn Dudley can’t walk into the USWNT starting 11, but you insisted she was going to slot in straight up. She seems to be struggling (Coach probably didn’t find favour in her) for minutes right now at the U20 World Cup..

Sophia Smith, Malory Pugh, Trinity Rodman are indispensable trio for the US upfront right now. Dudley have a lot of growing up to do!

For the final 3rd place spot, because of goal difference Costa Rica (-11) are all but ruled out.
So its basically Ghana vs Argentina. Whoever wins goes through.
If both win, then Argentina.
If both fumble then Paraguay gets their spot.

They hating on my girl. USA have white Danjuma's on their coaching staff

The girls played well against Venezuela but now i think they should get ready to play defence and the game of their lives against Japan.

Japan is very technical and very very good at set pieces.
An early goal will help Nigeria.

At least 3-2 can be the score or so.

If Nigeria qualifies, it will be good.

US have alot of quality upfront and Pietra Tordin was the player to watch before the tournament we knew the others, she had been the best in the build up to the tournament. Dudley suffering from too many talents in the forward line unless they go with a formation like 2-3-5
