The little brain Nurses must have claimed custody of the child from the father with child support sef. Only to leave the baby for 8 hours unattended to. This is cruelty. Violence against children and house helps is highly predominant among women but the government kept coving it and blaming men for everything. |

Pinkyposh:This is not all her fault, it is a reflection of the failure of Black community or Nigerian Community at large. We are community for mouth not action. With our population, are u telling me that one person cannot be looking after that baby and collecting money? She no fit come nairaland ask for help and somebody avialable help? All u need to do is vet them and interview and tell them what you dont want plus have cameras and make sure you pay them. |

Anybody advising you to go to a civilized country without your spouse is your enemy. Because, if the child father has been there, he could have taken care of the child. |

Even all those Redeem church all over the world are just completely useless? This si the kind of place they suppose help. I'm sure their is a Redeem Church close to her house. I will not blame only her but the entire nation. Nigeria and Black at large, we failed both mother and child. Also, we need to do more to hold baby daddy or single father to account. |

aribisala0:Baby was 10 week old sir…left unattended for 8 hours. Who does that and you are talking about judge not lest you be judged. 10 weeks, not even up to 3 months left unattended by his biological mother and you are criticising those who are horrified by her action. She even tried to get the childminder involved in something she knew nothing about. Oga, this lady is heartless and evil. She can do stuffs that will shock even you that’s defending her. |

thorpido:I think that is what to consider here. It looks more like a post partum depression case because she abandoned the baby and wants to get back to earn a living. She has not come to terms with her new realities. She wants to go back to caring for people instead of caring for a needy baby. I hope she gets the support she needs.

For them to find out, u can imagine the type of Cry the baby would have cried. It was heartless, even if she did not go to that work, the hospital can manage, they normally have more nurses than they actually need, sitting around in the reception gossiping. This was a poor judgement call and Nigeria need to build a community where ever they go regardless of tribe. The community should even grow to a Black Community, including non Nigerians. We are old enough for it. |

We should return to our roots and the believe that it takes a community to raise a child. Clearly this case is confirmation that we need each other and together each achieve more. I don talk finish, next na to open my community focused church world wide. |
