The Ogun state governor has suspended all levies paid in all markets of Ogun state except for development and sanitation levies.

He has also gotten the committment of transport unions not to increase transportation fares without reason. This will help to reduce the prices of food and other items in the markets and also ensure transportation doesn't increase.

Small steps but big impact

JUST IN🚨: Governor Dapo Abiodun has suspended ALL market levies except development and sanitation fees in markets across Ogun State, in order to ease the financial pressure on traders in Ogun State in these peculiar times.

The Governor made the announcement during a meeting moments ago with market leaders, led by the Iyaloja General, Chief (Mrs.) Yemisi Abass.

This is coming some days after government met with transport unions and got their commitments to not arbitrarily increase any levies that will make transporters increase Tfare.

The kind of state allocation these governors have been receiving since Tinubu became President has so, so, so much increased, so much, but nothing to show.

What is the meaning of what this one is trying to do?!

There is a state that their governor gives each LG only 10,000,000 each instead of over 300,000,000 allocated to each LG. You can imagine. Make I no just talk too much.

How many people have tried to hold their governors accountable since when Tinubu so much increased their allocation. Let's be sincere.
