4. In Deuteronomy 7, God expressly forbade the children of Israel from marrying from among the foreigners.

5. In Deuteronomy 21:10-14, God gave the Israelites the procedure to follow of they intended to marry any of their involuntary slaves as wives.

6. In Exodus 21:7-10, God also gave procedure for marrying female slaves who became slaves voluntarily.
