I’m worried—won't I make heaven as a blogger?

When I'm not blogging on Nairaland, I'm either reading, doing web design, listening to the radio, drawing, or engaging in other personal development activities. Yesterday, while tuning in to a radio drama program, there was a scene where a politician (in the play) was complaining about how bloggers exaggerated news about him. At the end of his rant, he exclaimed, "All these bloggers won't make heaven oo!" It made me burst out laughing, as it reminded me of what I see on Nairaland every day. But later, it got me thinking—will bloggers truly make heaven? Especially Nairaland bloggers?

These words ("All these bloggers won't make heaven!") have echoed across the internet over the years. People often say it when the news doesn't sit well with some readers, but is it our fault? We report the news as it breaks and trends. I really need an answer!

Let me take this opportunity to give a shoutout to Oluwaseun Osewa, the great man behind this fantastic forum, and all the moderators and supermods (especially nlfpmod) for their fantastic work. I love Nairaland because it prioritizes Nigerian content over foreign content, making it primarily targeted at Nigerian residents. Nairaland truly feels like home, and I’m grateful to Seun Osewa for creating this wonderful space!
