Greatphase:- Nobody can predict the outcome. Why don't you start the application and ask for help if you need it? No two applications are the same and so it is difficult to predict the outcome of a visa application. I would always advise that you try your luck cos it is only when you try that you can succeed. |

It’s still a premium charge. Ikeja doesn’t charge the same. Jannyfranc: |

Cashmadam:@ Cashmadam thanks a lot She can not apply as full house wife because she was been denied in August as a self employed in Hairdresser salon job with monthly income of #65000 and living expenses of #50000, She was denied on the fact that the living expenses those not reflect on her account,I also submitted my account as the sponsor, she is now running new account by paying her salary into her account and withdraw #50000 has her monthly expenses. And the eco said, her circumstances must change if she want to apply again. She just came back from Ghana by road last week, and we are planning to apply for her next year with two children,so with Ghana trip, can it increase her chance of getting it next year? Or what do you think we can do to boost her chance of getting it next year? Or what of , if her salary is increase to 250k? Will it boost her chance? |

onile1975:She already has refusal from them? And how will adding 2 children to her travel plans make this better? The more people advise you, the more you shift the goal post. Why please? Please discontinue this application for now until her circumstances genuinely change. Ghana doesn’t constitute travel history |

onile1975:Ok, I get. Ghana will not add value as far as travel history is concerned. She can travel to Dubai or Qatar. Her income is simply too low. Perharps if her income increases to N300k, it might help. I say might because other factors determine the outcome of the application. |

Or its a must that she should contribute certain amount of money towards her trip? Lastly,if her salary increase, that means her living expenses must increase she has five dependants. |

onile1975:Why must you assume her expenses must increase? Leave it at 50,000 or go lower. Ensure that after every month she has more than 250,000 naira out of her salary left as disposable income. It makes her look responsible, frugal. It will make her look like somebody who indeed is planning for a travel without recourse to use public funds. 250k is less than 100 pounds with today's oanda rates. Even if you sponsor her at the end of the day, her discipline on the account will no doubt give her an edge or a pass on the financial aspect of the application. |

I currently have a 2-year UK visa which is due to expire soon. I have used it 2ce and plan to use it again before it expires I will be applying for a 10year UK visa immediately i return. I've taken my time to go this thread all the way to Part 4, and it's seems the idea is to go through the same process as previous UK visa application(successful application) with updated documents. From my findings so far, it seems people who applied for long term visas be it 2, 5 or 10years all got approvals based on their previous success and having used their previous visas without overstaying or defaulting on any immigration policy. My question is are there people with previous UK Visas who applied for long term visas and got rejected, despite following the same process that previously got them a visa approval and what was the reason for the refusal? Gurus in the house please I'll need your wealth of experience Cc; @giselle @ashirioluwa @blessedsteph @cashmadam @puffmama @leef2022 |

Cashmadam:Thanks But I'm not adding tax returns unfortunately and you know the reason. Even the richest billionaire in Nigeria, we're told pays only ₦20million per annum, where's he's supposed to be paying close to that ₦20million monthly. So, tax is not commensurate with actual earnings |

@ Cashmadam well done and remain bless I want to asked if her salary is increase, those that means her living expenses must increase,? because she just delivered a bouncing baby girl which increase her dependants to five. Her dependants was four in her last refused application, and she will be apply with this baby next year. |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Cashmadam: 9:47am On Oct 01, 2024 |
BruceXavier:It's rare to get a rejection. However, it does happen - for varying reasons. If you are worried, why don't you add a cover letter to your application to explain your finances and ties to Nigeria? It's very rare to get a rejection if your finances and ties are in order - especially if you did not overstay on previous visas. Good luck! |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Cashmadam: 9:49am On Oct 01, 2024 |
onile1975:Not necessarily. If the Father takes care of the Baby, the baby is not her dependant. She should not have added 4 dependants - that's a lot. Especially on such a low income. It's too late now so she should leave it at 4 and not increase to 5. I hope this helps. |

Hi Everyone, I just received confirmation from the Home Office regarding my visa application which was successful. However, there appears to be a discrepancy with the visa end date. The Home Office has indicated the last date as 12th October 2026, whereas my Certificate of Sponsorship (COS) states 23rd June 2027. Can anyone kindly advise on the steps I could take to address this with the Home Office? |
