Lol, with the way I'm broke right now as a student.
$120 will suffice for food for a full month and take me outta this depressed state.

That better be for a month. Spend that on a family of five for two weeks in Houston and that's when we're being reckless with lots of snacks.

My house.
I remember one of my Delta friends back in Edmonton who made Starch and Banga for my mom on her birthday. Told her my mom was in town and I wasn't sure what to do for her birthday. She asked me to bring her over and she made my mom's birthday very memorable. A big shout out to MamaLaju!!!

It isn't too much depending on how many times you purchase grocery of such magnitude monthly. Do you plan monthly budget?

Dinner from last night:

Plantain amala with ewedu.

Breakfast:

Egg, cheese, guacamole, pepper sauce burrito square. Couldn't wrap it because of the many mushy things inside.

I got an inspiration for chimichanga when I finished. I can put the guacamole and cheese/pepper sauce on top of it.

If you’re struggling to make a variety of meals.
Go through your fridge/freezer, kitchen cabinets and pantry and make a list of everything. I mean every single item. Then sit down make a list of the possible combinations that can be achieved with those ingredients. Breakfast, lunch, dinner & desserts. You’ll be surprised at the variety.

I found I’ve been feeling kinda lazy and unmotivated to cook. Tried this and the past 3 days, cooking has turned fun again. Just looking forward to ticking off items on the list.

Starting with these yummy banana filled crepes for dessert.

And some shrimp and dense bean salad. Rich in fiber and easy for even non-salad lovers to enjoy

It seems pictures are being limited on this forum recently. 🤔

Last night’s dinner

Dinner:

Oatmeal fufu with peanut soup.

Breakfast for husband. Roasted mushrooms and bell peppers, sausage, eggs, beans and toast.

I salut people that can drink black coffee 😑😖
