GboyegaD:It is.You can make your own dressing “Olive oil, lemon juice, pinch of salt. Black and white pepper & honey. The key is to leave it in the fridge for a little while for the beans to soak up the flavors. Or use balsamic vinegar 👍🏾👍🏾 |

Dinner: Pounded yam with Delta Owho Soup. Tried the soup for the first time and my family loves it. Decided against the starch being this is my first time making the soup and needed to be sure everyone would like it.

Hi rice lovers, what variety/ies of rice do you love best? I love broken jasmine rice a lot. Glutinous rice Sushi. I use broken jasmine to make fried rice. Tried it first to make Guyanese fried rice. These variety of rice are best eaten without tomatoe stew. Good for sticky rice dishes or rolls. Actually, basmati followed by long grain comes last for me. Long grain is best for jollof as it absorbs nutrients quicker and very sweet variety. |

Different rice for different dishes for me. I don’t particularly have favorites as I find using the right/wrong rice will affect the result. Jasmine for Asian fried rice dishes Parboiled rice for Nigerian fried & jollof rice Basmati for tomato stew. Also good for Nigerian jollof Sticky rice for sushi bakes, rice bowls or similar dishes Long grain for pilaf and also tomato stew. descarado: |
