Just a few days ago, 200 Northerners in a boat. Today, 20 people in Lagos Lagoon. Probable cause, human negligence.

Who is you people's Transportation Minister in this country?

Both boats unregistered.... and he is begging boat owners to register their vessels. What happen to enforcement?

Why do people risk their lives by not taking necessary precautions? What happens to the use of Life jackets? People weh no fit swim go deh risk their lives as if all is well.

were the boatmen sleeping or what? so they couldn't turn their boat else where in that wide sea? very tragic

Boat operation in Nigeria should be restricted, pending when the government is ready to procure standard boats for water transportation.

Most of those boats don't have lifejackets....some that have most of the passengers will refuse to wear it. ... Some will say Na God dey protect ....Some will refuse to wear the lifejackets because it is dirty or overused. Go to Marina , Ikorodu , Agido in badagry etc

It is the responsibility of the boat owner to provide lifejackets....They are commercial boats ..... ...

That's why the people in authority need to step in , by regulating and enforcing the law.......
