They’ll still bill you because you’re the man, and they’ve got all kinds of reasons to justify it. Some will even say, 'spending your man’s money is sweeter than anything.'

That’s why I laugh when some people claim they're independent 😂. Independent how? We have plenty of successful women in Nigeria, but very few are truly independent. Don’t you see them in interviews? No matter how rich they are, most still want a man to handle the bills 😂.

That said, dating a rich lady does come with perks—at least she can afford to buy you gifts. It’s better than some people who give you sex for every occasion: sex on your birthday, sex on her birthday, sex on Boyfriend’s Day, sex on Father’s Day, even sex on Father’s burial. Gifts make you feel appreciated.

But the most confusing situation is dating a broke woman who doesn’t ask for money. She no get, she no ask, and even if you offer her a reasonable sum, she no go take. She’ll say, 'Wetin I no fit afford, no dey enter my eye.'

You’ll start feeling useless and unloved if you’re used to dating women who always bill you. 😂
