All the prophets I read of in the Bible died while in active service. Never did I read of anyone retiring from being God's prophet until today.




Ezekiel, Moses, Aaron, Joshua, Isaiah, Abraham, John, Peter, Jesus, Jeremiah, Enoch etc.

All walked with God till death.


So explain to me how men of God are retiring in Winners. Does this mean that the retired men of God are no longer for God and if they still are (under a different church) then it is either the church they left or the one they just formed/joined is false.


If so, it means that Winners, RCCG & co are corporate organizations and not churches.

There is difference btw pastor and prophets

Pastors are trained men of God. To evangelize the gospel. They go through Bible school etc

Prophets are called directly by God to serve him.. they can choose to be pastor I.e Go to Bible school or not…

A prophet can also be a pastor…
Not all pastors are prophets

So to answer your question pastors can and should retire..

Pastors are trained men of God. To evangelize the gospel. They go through Bible school etc

There is what we call five fold ministry gift which can be found in Ephesians 5:11, which includes the Pastor, Prophet, Evangelist, Apostles and Teachers. No one is bigger or more important than the other they are all needed.
There are lots of People in ministry now who bears pastor or Prophet who are not. For example Oyedepo is not a prophet ( I know you are a winner Member) because a prophet hears and speaks from God continually e.g Suleiman, Tb Joshua, etc. Oyedepo is a Pastor and an Apostle. Adeboye is a Pastor, Kumuyi is a Pastor and a teacher, Oyakhilome is a Pastor and Teacher. Olukoya is a Pastor and a Prophet.

There are people who are ordained Pastors who don't have the call to. Going to bible school or being ordained by man does not make you a Pastor. It is God that calls. Out of all the Ministry gifts, the most difficult is Pastoring

If they retire it is normal even catholic has retirement age or before if so desires. They have produced giants and powerful younger generation that can replace them unlike in your Biafran lands where many are ipob and baby factory products like you that has nothing to offer than complaint and hatred

They are not churches.
But even priests retire. Ezekiel did meet a retired priest in the bible. I don't remember the verse but you can look it up.
