from the midfield we have no one better than him currently in the team and thats what many fail to see in his game for the super eagles

We won and dominated the first leg

Eguaveon yet to loose as an interim Super Eagles coach.

I had issue with our wasted passes yesterday but the boys still played fine
Make no mistake

The North African antics will be there
When ever you see them first complain, then get ready for shambolic experience

From Arrival to match day the will unsettle you.

Our players should forget European hospitality and put on the rugged African mentality to play dirty on and off the field

By all means get a result

Would you as a coach sign Iwobi as your new player?
it doesn't matter if I would sign him or not, the context is about the national team and if you follow their games you would see non of the players in the team can give a penetrative pass especially in a tight space the all like to play the ball to wide spaces only iwobi attempts to do that tailored pass in thight spaces which is one of the trademark of modern football.

I still have issues with some players that are invited. An example is Benjamin Tanimu who plays for relegation bound Crawley town FC in 3rd tier English league 1 division when we have capable defenders in top divisions.
Taiwo awoniyi who is yet to find his goal scoring form for Nottingham forest this year was invited while Cyriel Dessers of Rangers who scored a goal in his last match for us and one of the top scorers in the Scottish league was not invited.
Some of the selections of local coaches always raise an eye brow
You don't just introduce new players in the middle of a qualifiers, it's dangerous. Boniface with all his goals is struggling at the national team at the moment.

Team cohesion comes first before individual prowess.

Ghana with Inaki, Kudos n Partey is yet to win a game in 3 matches

You know Nigeria is like Chelsea.
We are not patient with coaches when they fail.

Even though Eguaveon did not qualify us for World cup due to one mistake or the other, he seems to be a better coach, if given time.

Supereagles play sweet football under him.

He will learn from his past errors.

Exactly!

It's true he makes some mistakes, but he also has the best pass in that team.

Even Okocha in his days too, Dem dey collect ball well well for his leg and our defenders overworked themselves to recover from his errors.

Iwobi is not bad a player so to say.
His passes can break a team.
Let's be sincere for once. He builds up with the team upfront.

Dessers is not new at all to the team.
Tanimu of 20th position crawley town in English league 1, 3rd division was new and I agree he was one of those who cause problems for us when we lost to Benin Republic in our World Cup qualifiers.

The referee was irritated by their delay tactics. Even when there was a foul play against them, the referee ignored it. He was my man of the match grin grin grin grin

Continue with the 3-5-2 formation, drop Ndidi,Iwobi and Boniface. Invite Gift Orban and get Tosin Adarabioyo by all means- Things the Nigerian Coach Must do to get the Super Eagles to the 2026 World Cup !

Coach Eguavoen appears to be the chosen one to help Nigeria qualify for the Mundial after failing to qualify us for Qatar 2022. He however needs to make some tough decisions which may annoy some big boys in the team
and some top dogs in the NFF!

Victor Boniface is an overhyped striker! He has the potentials but not yet there. His shot conversion rate(18.75%) is very low despite playing in a club that creates multiple chances for him! He scores a goal for approximately every 5 shots he takes! He should not be starting for the Eagles!

Ndidi is one of the old heads in the team and well respected but his marking and ball passing skills aren’t really great! He is a leader in the team and though he does have some good moments with Leicester, he is well past his prime! He should not be starting! Eguavoen must have the testicular fortitude to bench him. Onyedika and Onyeka are younger, tougher and better !

Iwobi doesn’t have the energy, brute force and goal scoring abilities to be starting as our number 10. He does have some guile to his game which has helped him in his career in England but he doesn’t have enough to be bossing the midfield of the Super Eagles. Dele Bashiru is more compact, rugged and a better scorer of goals.

Gift Orban must be invited! He offers something different from all our other strikers! He can shoot with both feet from outside the box, take free kicks and he is more like Ademola Lookman. He scored 15 goals in his debut 2022/2023 season in Belgium while Boniface scored 9! He scored the fastest hat trick in any Uefa competition and has now become a regular with Lyon ! He can support Osimhen or deputise for Lookman!

NFF, do everything within your powers to get Chelsea’s Tosin Adarabioyo to commit to the eagles! That guy with Ekong, Ajayi and Bassey will make our defence world class!

Finally, coach pls revert to the 3-5-2 that brought us success at the Afcon! Our former coach learnt the hard way before he finally settled for that formation! Nigeria is no longer a high scoring side hence the need to consolidate on our defensive solidity! Don’t tweak the formation to accommodate some old guys in the team! South Africa is not smiling, they destroyed Congo 5-0 yesterday and they are determined to clinch the World Cup ticket ahead of us! All hands must be on deck to get the ticket and even though it will be difficult, it is not impossible!
