He became Europe's top dribbler playing for Sevilla.
And he is their most creative outlet.

Don't ever think he is not productive.
Don't let a poor study determine your conclusions.

He should have had three goal by now,
I saw those goals.
I have also seen his shooting.

His goal chances creation is not poor.
I have seen his team.
And I know the quality that surrounds him at present.

Don't let a poor study determine what you make of him.
He has always been a fantastic dribbler, but became Europe's best, playing for Sevilla.
Improve the quality around him and see him shine the more, football is team sports.

And finally...

Don't think that his branding as highly technical has got only to do with his dribbling skills.
His shooting, his passing, are also included.
Bro end that topic there’s nothing you’re going to tell me about ejuke that i don’t know I don’t follow stats or whatever I watch with my 2 eyes before he came to Sevilla i was watching him week in and week out not just him any 9ja player especially our boys at slavia Prague

Oga there’s no way you want to quote it, ejuke has not even scratched his potential self not to talk of being euro best 🤣 una let fugazi praise get to his head 🤣

You see how productive marhez is even without the pace or physicality he can assist and score for fun

The moment ejuke learns to assist and score for fun and forget about all these best dribbler rubbish then he’ll be making real waves

As of now he’s just average with nothing exceptional to show for

Sorry for the stress guys. Your well being is far worth more than that game. Please return to your respective clubs. CAF can give the 3pts and 3 goals to Libya. We will qualify from the remaining 2 games.

This is the narrative being peddled in Libya. Question is who is lying? This is highly unlike Nigeria.
Why take a flight to PH for a match in UYO? What were the plans on ground to receive them? Imagine them even saying they got robbed? Useless people
I think I now get where this whole animosity started from. Yes most likely they were refused any sort of clearance to fly to Uyo. Uyo airport is not an international airport so FAA won’t permit any flights from outside the country. No Customs no immigration.

If they came on a chartered plane, they could have just done the lap from port harcourt to Uyo after passing through customs.

Some of our airports erroneously labeled ‘international airport’ might have caused this problem.

Ekong is HIm
I wonder what he still wants. He’s the most capped Nigerian player already and has enjoyed one of the best careers one could ask for in the GWG.

Not an excuse for their stupidity, will they have tried nonsense with a European country if they were not cleared to land at a particular airport? We Africans need to borrow more sense we are just too full of disrespect for ourselves. Yet we complain about the continent not living up to higher standards. These guys are just plain bullies, is it not for their own safety they were not cleared to land in uyo that lacked the status to receive their arrival? Are they all illiterates? don’t they have advisers to explain to them the status of Uyo airport. You’re coming to my house, I told you your car can’t get close because it’s not motorable will I manufacture another road for you so you come by force? The eagles themselves that come from Europe do their flights directly land in uyo? Libya Dey craze for head including CAF who can’t coordinate themselves

You don’t get it. Some navigational charts have already coded them as international airports with full customs services.

When publicly available information is saying one thing and officials are saying another, in this kind of situation, it is natural to suspect foul play.

You made sentiments your advisor.

You said there is "nothing exceptional" about Europe's top dribbler.
You can criticise him all you want, but saying there is nothing exceptional about him, is denying facts.

All I can say at this point is

Thank you Lord for the safe arrival of the team back home.

This ordeal made me realize how much I love the Super Eagles and how emotionally invested I am in the team.

It was an emotional roller coaster

Fear catch me.

I was angry and short-tempered.

Food lost taste in my mouth.

I was absent minded and was just going through the motions of eating today.

I took longer to finish dinner tonight cos I kept refreshing Nairaland and twitter just to read that the boys were back on Nigerian soil.

Phew.

Nigerians, we do this one.

Next phase is #alleyesoncaf

I just saw the circular the Foreign Ministry put out and I remembered Tuggar is the minister. We can expect nothing to be proud about from him and that ministry

Forthwith the foreign ministry should prepare some payback to these suckers. Whether na their business interests in Nigeria or West freaking Africa, it should feel the heat!

How BP was formed and the refusal to make them enjoy their oil. Chai. Mossadegheh house arrest and eventually demise. Smh.

They're doing that to Nigeria in a modified format. Installing stooges and sucking dry everywhere. I don't like Ayatollah Kho one bit either.

And you think it’s only in Nigeria such happens? Why do you think some countries insist one must land in a particular airport for immigration purposes and clearance, Libya didn’t get their plans right. And when they were told Uyo couldn’t receive them don’t they have enough educated people among them or back in their country to explain properly to them without reading any foul play? Are they the first team to play in uyo? This is clearly simple misunderstanding on their own part first thing they should have checked is if the eagles themselves flew into Uyo directly and see if Nigeria was mischievous. All what they are saying in the media is that we allowed them land 200km away from the match venue, was that in any way intentional from us?

We'll play on a neutral venue, that if Libya doesn't get suspended. Anyone that want the 3 points should work for it

I don't know why you Nigerians sometimes sound like a loser, dash Libya 3 points? Na wa oo

If some of you understand how international relations work, you won't be posting such.
Those in the knowledge of international relations rates this same Tuggar very highly and most times international relations doesn't work based on emotions.
Did you read where the Ministry of foreign affairs said that Libya doesn't have an ambassador in Nigeria and because of that, the foreign affairs ministry has not only been in touch with the Libyan Government but has also summoned the head of the Libyan ministry in Nigeria?
You expected Tuggar to immediately call for the arrest of all Libyans in Nigeria just to show you that the ministry is working?
Do you know that there are x100 of Nigerians in Libya, compared to Libyans in Nigeria?
So the foreign ministry and the federal government shouldn't care of what the outcomes of Nigerians in Libya would become and take a decision that would ends up endangering the lives of countless Nigerians in Libya?
With a rough estimate, I can boldly tell you that there are more than 500k Nigerians in Libya and majority of them have settled in there, can same number be said of Libyans in Nigeria?

This while episode might've torpedoed our attempts to get foreign borns to play on the future. Who would wanna go through this in a country that doesn't even have a legitimate government and could descend into civil war at the drop of a hat?
Lol. I doubt. It has rather projected the team more internationally, especially with how Ekong was the face of it, IMO. Seeing Nigerians rally round their team all over SM and demanding justice... Anyone wey wan read otherwise and not consider a chance with this GWG na OYO o. My only ish is how it dragged till almost 20hrs.

The men are back home and excited. If anything, this incident will foster a stronger bond and might just secure AE the job. Change of manager rn will be upsetting to the mendem. His luck.
