On October 22, just days away, the Supreme Court would be hearing a suit filed by no fewer than 16 state governments challenging the constitutionality of the laws establishing the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and two other anti-graft agencies.https://dailytrust.com/illegality-of-efcc-all-eyes-on-the-supreme-court/

All eyes for what? So that the Governors could continue to have a field day looting the States' Commonwealth and no one to challenge them. No matter how corrupt the EFCC is, it still act as a "small" check to stealing of States' funds. |

Nigeria is the most difficult country to live now after Libya. Every aspect of the country is corrupt. From presidency, to legislature, to judiciary, to all the state governors. How we expect things to work out is pure miracle. Everyone just want to cut his shares and leave the country in confusion. |

Rather than facing issues to improve living standard in their states, Effc and icpc is their problem. Agreed that these agencies are not effective but for the governors to go against them, it probably means they are scared due to their financial recklessness. They wants to go about their nefarious activities without fear of been summoned especially after leaving office. These people are only after whatever favours them...it is never about the masses. |

The state Governors are one of the Main problems of Nigeria .. EFCC may be ineptitude but the GOVERNORS are the problems ... We have shameful leaders and yooseless youths that follow crimes and frauds whenever it favors them.... Untill we all start supporting a youth with no Pdp,apc,lp,lpdp affiliations things will continue to be this way. If we want change .. let's vote a new candidate.. If its disintegration, make everybody go their way .. |

Weak government institutions, poor transparency and accountability structures. The entire system is messed up, State governments want full access to stealing without questioning While the EFCC only go after political opposition’s |

It is like most of those states are APC states. Well it is better for efcc to stand on their ground. I support them on this. The governors need to be checked. |

Finally, the only semblance of anti corruption is about to go. As useless as EFCC has been in recent years, it's only scare crow in Nigeria against corrupt people |

EFCC is a useless organization that should be scrapped. They ignore public office holders who are daily embezzling public funds and they are going about harassing the so called yahoo boys who are also victims of the bad policies of successive governments and perceived politicial enemies. If EFCC is effective, how on earth did Akpabio become Senate President or Ganduje become APC national chairman. |

No structure in this country. EFCC has become a mere tool in the hands of the ruling party. Plus their illegal operations on ordinary citizens, attacking school hostels, hotels, clubs & bars |
