Naira Loses N106.7 In 48 Hours by iwaeda(op): 9:35pm On Oct 16, 2024
The naira lost N106.7 against the dollar in the last 48 hours at the official foreign exchange market.

This comes as the naira further weakened against the dollar in the foreign exchange market as FX supply dropped on Wednesday.

FMDQ data showed that the naira dropped to N 1659.69 per dollar on Wednesday from N1658.97 exchanged on Tuesday. This represents N0.72 loss.

DAILY POST recalls that on Tuesday the naira dropped significantly by N106.05 against the dollar.

Data from the World Bank showed that the naira was among the worst-performing currencies in Africa.

The only time it gained this week against the dollar was on Monday.

Fluctuations in Nigeria’s FX market have continued untamed despite interventions by the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN.

Meanwhile, Yemi Cardoso, the Governor of CBN, who spoke at the House of Representatives Committee on Banking Regulations said Nigeria has enough in its external reserves, which stood at $39.12 billion.

Lmao, what makes this funny is that people like you who defend that grotesque-looking subhuman in Aso Rock knows that you're not fooling anyone. But you just drop the "positive" comment anyway and move on.

Everything under the devilish party was fake and unstable, but Buhari was far better than Tinubu in all ramifications..

Buhari paid subsidy but Tinubu without paying subsidy has borrowed money than Buhari

The value of the debt in dollars is less under Tinubu than Buhari.

Under Buhari we spent 97% of our revenue servicing debt. Today it is down to 68% or thereabout.

Not even a single minister appointed by Buhari is working efficiently at %10huh

Even the power minister we thought was working a bit fine has disgraced himself with the national grid collapsing collapsing every two months

Meanwhile tilinbu is abroad recharging his battery while shettima is God knows where attending events with no immediate and decisive change to Nigerias issues.

We really dodged a bullet of PO to be slammed in the face with ballistic missiles of tilinbu 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Re: Naira Loses N106.7 In 48 Hours by RealGandalf:
cheesy The recent depreciation of the Naira by N106.7 in just 48 hours is concerning for both consumers and businesses. This rapid decline shows the urgent need for effective monetary policies to stabilize our economy. Let's hope the government takes decisive action to address this issue. Discourage import and encourage local production/export. The only solution. They are sitting in air conditioned offices and adjusting rates. Is economy a game of chess or monopoly?
