We may come close to 8. Top first half from the girls as expected. Harmony Chidi getting unlucky with one offside call and a 1v1 save. Her goal will come.

BascoVanVeli:
My prediction is 8-0 grin A big message will be sent tonight

That Moshood Shakirat's left foot is a delight. Love her confidence and drive on the ball.

Good first half from the girls..

What they need to do a bit better in the second half is moving the ball a little quicker in the final third. At times in that first half, they took a little to long to release the final pass which allowed the Zealanders to close down the spaces.

This group is too easy, I expect 9 points.
The challenge will be in the Quarter-finals.
On paper should be USA or Spain.
Both tough!!!

Coach Olowookere does a good job by hand picking the best even from the grass root. That's why his team is full of quality players

Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 10:17pm On Oct 16, 2024
Afolabi's header goal made me remember Messi's vs Van der SAR that year. Why should the shortest be rising highest to nod and score? grin
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by TheSuperNerd(m): 10:19pm On Oct 16, 2024
Flamingoes G/A stars today.

This our Coach sef. You have a comfortable lead. Make 3 subs now. Then another 2 shortly.
Manage the work load, keep them all sharp.

Lol 😂
Evidence of Local Coach for you. They can’t even read the game and make the necessary adjustments, why tire out the players when you have other games to play, bring in your subs to see how they can help. It already 70+

Spain 3-1 USA (94')
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by TheSuperNerd(m): 10:59pm On Oct 16, 2024
Bankole is me right now. Frustrated at how a potential attacking buildup still found its way back to our half... all because in the moment we were gonna likely pull the trigger, we let slip in communication and allowed that NZ player intercept and dribble the ball away.
