I'm not yet enrolled in class cos my program would start in January.
Meanwhile, we cannot get leave letter from his work cos he is a civil servant and he already went on leave for d year.
So how many days/weeks do we need to claim on d visit so that we would not need to attach leave letter from work?

Congratulations, you can use the same GCkey, and start with answering the eligibility questions, no link is faster, just apply and hope for the best. You will need
Letter of Invitation written by you
Marriage certificate
Letter of Intent written by your spouse
Your enrollment letter
LOA
POF to cover the expenses for the visit and return flight costs
Family pictures
etc

Honestly, this journey is a tough one. My children don cry tire. I try to be strong for my family but my husband cannot hold back his tears. That first visa denial broke him.
I want to start all over again and that's y I came to nairaland so support.

Processing time is now 17weeks. What are this people doing sef

They didn't do medical before the first application/refusal. When I got my gcms note I observed it was my POF they complained about.

So they went for medical before the second application. The medical was passed the day we got the approval.

You can apply for a two weeks visit, that will not need any leave letter and hope for the best.

How do I start d process of the vv for my husband and study visa for my children? Can someone here put me through?
Do I apply under my Gckey or I should open their own?

She did study permit extension for PSW course admission ending of august 31st in our account. Her current status will expire November 11th and we believe IRCC won’t even want to issue my swop or visit visa for 2months visa or 1months plus..

Hopefully by God grace we should be getting approval at once..

I know what your husband would have gone through mentally and emotionally but God will come through for us.. no pain, no gain because our tomorrow will be beautiful for the suffer and pain today..

If your programme allows your spouse to apply for SOWP and you have the required POF then you are good to go.

He doesn't need to cos it's waste of money and efforts.

The PNP approval comes with 600 CRS mark and it's the icing on the cake. Even if they have a zero initial CRS score on EE profile, that 600 from PNP nomination makes them qualify for ITA automatically on EE profile.

I love the journey. Congrats to them. Our turn too go come.

It depends on his realities.

1)is he applying for a Masters or professional degree course where Masters must be at least 2yrs? (Updated rule)

2) Applying for both of them means the other spouse cannot be used as home tie. In the absence of that do you guys have other strong home ties: work employment, business, assets, close family members and others?

3) Does he have enough money to cater for tuition and living cost for all family members for himself (student) and spouse applicants?

4) Does he have strong reason why he want his spouse to accompany him?

5) Is his spouse occupatiom in management or professional classification (Teer 0 or 1) in the Canada NOC. (Based on new rule)

These are the critical questions.

My wife got her PPR for her study permit application last week. We put in the application for study permit and SOWP together and submitted first week of September.

I ve been denied Visitors Visa before in 2022. The only update to my application so far has been "my previous biometrics being updated".

I know it's only been a week but can we start raising webforms.

With the new rules on SOWP that includes Masters of 16-month program, spouse in Mgt or Professional NOC....I am of the opinion new application for SOWP will be tough. I pray for those who have there's ongoing before the new rule to be able to get PPR.

Canada is really trying to tone down on Foreign Workers so if you re a new SOWP applicants, I will advise you wait till your spouse has finished her program to apply for SOWP. For now just do visit and study the country labour process and make connections in preparation for your labour market launch.

So a worker might not necessarily need to be a mgt position, they only need to be a labour shortage profession to qualify to bring their spouse on SOWP.

Now that we have a clear option in long term job shortage, it is better to align with that than the bogus alternative that is not yet defined.

It is a positive sign that the application will be approved but it is not an automatic guarantee. I will say it has close to 80% chance of approval based on experience from the past applications.

Hello everyone. I am applying for SOWP for my spouse and SP for my child through my CIC account. My spouse has completed the imm5476 Use of Representative form, appointing me as representative. We are trying to complete the imm5713 Use of Family Representative For Online Applications and am confused about whose information should be entered in Section A as the Family Member Representative. Should it be my information, since it is my CIC account being used, or my spouse's information since he is the primary applicant and our child is his family member?
