I was giving that by a very good friend few years ago. Not really into it. Just okay with my chilli and all the herbs and aromatics as I cook virtually everything with it except naija soups. There are some dishes that the taste of honey will alter for me, I rather use whenever there is need.

Dinner from yesterday:

Pounded yam with ofe onugbu. Forgot to get a new food processor cup so had to resort to the blender again. However, it was a bit too soft for my liking.

I don’t know my sister. I just call it what it says on the package. I know shrimp and crayfish are really similar so it’s easy for people to mislabel them. If not that prawns are typically larger, they for collect too😭

I love the very white ones they sell in Nigeria market- my mom do blend and made sauce from it. Delicious with rice or yams.

Crayfish, crawfish, and crawdads are the same thing. Prawns are just really big shrimp. Langoustines are another type of shellfish that looks like a crawfish, but they're actually a type of lobster.

But they basically all offer the same flavors to whatever dish you would want to use one of them for with slight differences in flavor (e.g. sweeter) and texture.

I watch Ghana popular food content creators and everytime they will say shrimp powder. Have asked myself why they don't use crayfish. Not knowing our crayfish is their shrimp powder and they use it to cook everything.
