You can continue building your career in the field of your work experience, as for cheap, studying abroad is not cheap, except if you have funding. Zyzman: |

Ritaikogho:Yes, I got mine towards the end of August, even though I had completed my assessment since July. Response time in getting the PAL was not as fast as I anticipated. My initial resumption was for September 2024 so I had to defer to January 2025. I got my my defer letter first then got the PAL a day after. Both were automatically uploaded on my border pass profile. You don't have to do anything. Border Pass will work with the school and upload on your profile once its ready. You will get a copy in your e-mail as well. Just ensure you have completed your assessment and go for your medicals if you are yet to. As soon as the PAL is available, you will be able to click the "submit application" button on your border pass page. |

Is Applied Energy Management program eligible for Canada PGWP and which category does it fall on the new ircc listed programs? Someone told me it falls under Engineering/industrial management (STEM) but I’m not 100% sure. Please does anyone know a direct email address to verify it from ircc? 🙏 |

gaeul:It's not an understatement or a bitter story but a fact: you cannot come to Canada without your tuition fee and expect to work 20 hours a week to cover it—it’s just not possible. I know more than 15 Nigerian students in Toronto who are now out of school and have become asylum seekers, and you can go to 129 Peter Street and see homeless students. It's not something I wish for anyone, so let's share the truth about the need for students to prepare financially when coming to Canada! |

gaeul:This on-campus job you've been going on about, how many percentage of students do you think get it? Even for those that get it, how many hours do you think the jobs afford them? So because the law says students can work unlimited hours on campus means institutions will employ students on a full-time basis? The same law states students are allowed to work 20hrs off campus. Obviously not all students have jobs. And for those that have, majority don't get the complete hours. You claim you haven't seen any Nigerian in your school that applied for asylum. This is laughable. What metrics did you use to arrive at this conclusion? |

But where is the money you showed the IRCC that you have enough funds? People like you are the ones bastardising the system gaeul: |

gaeul:Please stop misleading people with your nuisance motivation and let’s face the facts. The majority ignore the warning signs but follow dark, motivational trash like yours. I know where it landed my brother and how I had to keep sending him money. Even the so-called 20-hour job can hardly pay your tuition fees. Please stop giving people false hope and let them come prepared. My brother slept on the streets of Toronto for two days; it’s every man for himself out there! A beg landlord money no complete no dey Canada , Forget all the social media hype! |

I just received my GCMS Note 1. School Application Clarification: The refusal inaccurately stated that I applied to multiple schools, but I only applied to the University of Regina for the Master’s in Statistics program. 2. Tuition Fees Misrepresentation: The refusal cited tuition of $21,317 CAD for one year, but this amount is for the entire two-year program. My financial planning reflects this, as shown in my bank statements. 3. Lump Sum Deposits: The lump sum deposits in my bank were fully explained in my original submission, with details on the source of funds, aligned with my income and family support. Additional documentation can be provided if needed. 4. Opening Balance Clarification: My bank account’s opening balance exceeded 10 million Naira (approximately $17,000 CAD), which should address concerns about the sufficiency of funds. 5. Payslips and Income Evidence: My payslips were included to verify my income, which should have been sufficient to demonstrate my ability to fund my studies. 6. Support from My Sister: My sister’s contribution of 5 million Naira was a one-time gesture, not as a co-sponsor. My savings and income are the primary financial sources, sufficiently demonstrated in my application. Guys, Please I need your advice

JMG12:I have a relative that is willing to sponsor my POF. I can come up with tuition. Main concern for moving is my kid and the increasing cost of living as I earn in naira. Just fed up at this point. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by techgen(m): 8:38am On Oct 22, 2024 |
I would advice that you just just to apply again by directly addressing the VO concerns as you just did now on your comments…making sure your properly highlight your point. Again, ensure you put all your POF documentation in the proof of funds section…don’t assume that that will request for additional documents, include every evidence in line with your statements of purpose. Unlike blacks, sorry to say,…we assume a lot. But the whites folks wants evidence for everything you say…ex. If you tell them someone gifted you money support it with a gift deed…don’t assume they think it’s because the person loves you. All the best my bro. ✌️ Popson09: Popson09: Popson09: Popson09: |

Does Canada statistics also lie that many Nigerian student are seeking Asylum? You cant use your unique case to generalized. Lets assume your case is true, how many people have access to work in school unlimited hours? So your case cannot be used as a template to advise people to come to Canada empty handed and depend on part time work for tuition and living expenses. Peopel even struggle to afford housing/living expenses while working you re now adding tuition. Thats suicidal. gaeul: |

I applied 06.09 and have just got SP refusal, reason is "I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by paragraph R216(1)(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/sor-2002-227/section-216.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada, based on the following factors: • The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application" |

DTravel:Sorry for the refusal, this is usually when your SOP is not well written to explain your plans to convince the VO |

banky24:Firstly, your POF was not enough to cover your remaining tuition and other expenses. Secondly, you did not explain how you raised the funds that were in your account with proofs. |
