A40:I will say this for rodgers, he does have a ton of confidence in himself. Enough to be ok with Jets betting the season and likely next season on him. I need some of that mojo for reals ![]() |

birdman:Imagine thinking Rodgers is not finished in big 2024. When his last good season was really 2021 |

Knicks traded Donte and got Mikal Bridges that usually have 1 game in a month. KAT for Randle also. Knicks GM must be smoking something when doing those trades. |

With Big ALs 3, the Celtics tie the NBA record for most 3 points made in a game. |

The NBA begins indeed. I have found myself watching highlights of Jason Williams 'White Chocolate'. I wish to see assists as good as his this season. By the way, is this team good enough to beat the Celtics? These creeps are still the favorites to go back to back.

greypencils:6-0 in the preseason. This team is certainly the deepest team in the league. Will it be enough? We'll find out. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by greypencils: 11:29am On Oct 23, 2024 |
steady986:They beat Lakers, Kings, Pistons, all bottom tier, that one no mean anything na. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 1:28pm On Oct 23, 2024 |
steady986:It won't be enough and that can't be explained enough. No need to think too far. We are just taking it one game at a time. Let the my Warriors breathe abeg. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 1:35pm On Oct 23, 2024 |
greypencils:Don't set us up for drags abeg. Our front office could have done better this off season. So, leave them boys to be dragging who's the top dog. |

Warriors will surprise a lot of people. Let's hope Wiggins is in a right frame of mind. Sometimes the closure of losing a loved one can propel you to out of body experiences. I think the Warriors have a lot of players that have a lot of room to improve and that jump from 2nd to 3rd year or 3rd to 4th year can be huge. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 4:35pm On Oct 23, 2024 |
A40:I am not as excited about this Warriors roster as many of you are. While there is depth in the numbers, I don't see the depth in quality to compete in the West. My take isn't necessarily about Klay because I believe his time with the Warriors was over. Outside of Curry, once again, I struggle to see a consistent offensive player on that roster, particularly on the offensive side. Defensively, they are also short with K. Looney being the only player who can provide that consistent rebounding. They have a better chance if they play small ball. Ultimately, it will depend on how S. Kerr wants to play this season. Are they going to be an all 3 level scoring team or are they going to stay small and play with pace, especially on transition. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 8:41pm On Oct 23, 2024 |
Roland17:Don't get me wrong I don't consider them a championship threat or nothing crazy like that but I can see them making the playoffs at the minimum. I'm banking on improvements by their young players and guys like Wiggins and fingers crossed Draymond to be available and solid. They have a smart coach and play team basketball. Their players might not be big names but everyone knows their role |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 9:00pm On Oct 23, 2024 |
A40:I can agree with this. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 12:11am On Oct 24, 2024 |
Roland17: A40:Thanks for putting into words what I was thinking! I'm pretty frustrated that the Warriors are wasting Steph’s talent, but I’m still excited for some entertaining basketball and nothing more. Here’s hoping Draymond can keep his ego in check and stay focused. Let's see what happens. |

Is there a reason why podziemski plays more minutes than moody even though moody is a far better scorer? |

Tim Legler is finally where he belongs. I thought he did an excellent job today as the color commentator in his debut today. |

A40:Kuminga & Moody dont strike me as guys to give you 40-50 on their best days. Tyrese Maxey and some couple guys did that. I am not getting such vibes from these boys |

Clay is going to get a lot of open shots in this mavs team with Kyrie and Luca drawing all the heat, I hope he cooks. I'll be rooting for the mavs this season |

Looks like the time has finally come for LeBron o. I can see it in his demeanor on the court. I don't see him playing another season. After all, he's fulfilled that dream of playing with his son. You deserve that retirement bro. Ain't gon fault you. |
