Good afternoon
@cashmadam @giselle237 @leef2022 @ashirioluwa
Please, I applied for a UK visa for an event starting on November 1st, 2024. I just received my Visa today and the start day says November 10th, 2024. Please, is there anything I can do?
I need help
You can get in touch with them and voice your concerns if you are certain that the anticipated travel date you specified on your application is earlier than the start date of your visa.

November 1st is few days away from today .

You can use this link to contact them

https://ukvi.mysecurepay.co.uk/Home

Or

You can walk to TLScontact office to let them know.

I know Tlscontact team will be of help if you visit their office to let them know your situation.

This application is most likely to be refused.
Everything looks forced and with previous refusals already + zero travel history, no ECO would take such chances of granting this visa as this tallies with one with no strong compelling ties/one who would recourse to public funds is given the visa. If you were also seen as a worthy sponsor during the last application, her income might have mattered less but no you were not seen in that light .It is a simple no until circumstances change——> 200-250k disposable income all new information + no verifiable employment —-> no—-> and all the signs are clearly here.
@ giselle237 and cashmadam thanks for ur response

Actually I fully sponsor her last refused application and the reason for this denied was pure economic financial circumstances, now we want to amend it, before her next application, meanwhile, as part of her effort she just came back from Ghana by flight last month.i hope this travel will help in next application?

Am also going to be fully sponsor her and my two chilnext application, this time, she will apply with her two children, another thing is that she is going to hopen more salon shop to boost her income cos she was into hairdressing ,and she will explain this as the reason cause change in her income from 65k to 300k and also submit pictures of all the salon shop as evidence,I hope this will boost her chances of getting it next year when she reapply?

Ghana by canoe, speedboat, submarine, truck, wheel barrow would not help in terms of anything unfortunately … As insignificant as the k in knife.
You can also go through what I said before as I am beginning to sound like a broken record. Cheers.

Good morning everyone, please I need an advice on how to tackle this refusal.

I live in the UK with my wife and we tried to invite my mother-in-in-law over to the UK to attend my graduation ceremony and to see the kids but her visa got denied
Here’s the refusal letter…

The decision
I have refused your application for a Visit Visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the requirement(s) of paragraph V4.2 of Appendix V of the Immigration Rules because:
• You state you are retired, and you do not have any income or savings and you spend 100,000.00 NGN (46.24 GBP) each month on living expenses. However, the documents you have provided do not demonstrate your current wider personal and financial circumstances or how you support yourself daily in your country of residence. Therefore, I am not satisfied that your personal and financial circumstances are as stated.
• You state your sponsors (son-in-law and daughter) in the UK will pay a combined amount of 2000.00 GBP towards your visit. I acknowledge the supporting evidence however from the information provided you have not demonstrated the relationship between you and your daughter in the UK. There is no formal document like a birth certificate to confirm the relation. This undermines the credibility of your current application.
• The factors mentioned above have not been taken in isolation but considered collectively. They damage the overall credibility of your application, leading me to doubt your intentions in seeking to visit the UK for the limited period and purpose stated. From the information on your application form and the documents you have submitted, I am not satisfied that you intend to leave the United Kingdom or that you are genuinely seeking entry as a visitor. Your application is therefore refused under paragraph V4.2 (a) and (c).
• Rate of exchange £1 = [2,162.42 NGN (reference www.oanda.com on [25/09/2024]
• You have applied for 18 days visit to the UK for the purpose of visiting family and to attend your son-in-law graduation ceremony

Please how can I tackle this and re apply again.
Thanks for your prompt reply and contribution.

With this explanation, her chance of getting her visa approved is close to negative. This is just my personal opinion.

In her next application, include your wife's birth certificate, pictures of her and mum as well as pictures of the both of you with her. Include your marriage certificate.
For her bank statement, what's the inflows and outflows like? Does close to 100k leave the account every month and how much is the closing and opening balance of the statement. UK like lots of evidences, even the one you think is irrelevant, add it. Use documents choke them.
Also reduced the length of stay to max 2 weeks or even 1 week if you can to increase her chance. When she enter she can stay longer. Provide evidence of her retirement as well, like retirement letter or ID

She has a business; therefore, give sometimes to let her have enough money in her own bank account so she can sponsor or cosponsor the trip.

The most important thing is that she will need to show evidence of strong home ties to Nigeria, like family ties and employment.

Paystubs, proof of employment (appointment letter), current university enrollment verification letter, copy of your valid study permit, personal account statement.
Other things that demonstrate ties to Canada- if you are married and have kids, submit a marriage certificate and kids' birth certificates etc
Sponsor's account information if you have a sponsor or co-sponsor.
If you are going to visit an immediate family member, consider submitting proof of relationship to that family member.
Invitation letter if applicable. Lastly, include a cover letter that explains your submitted documents and describes your planned itinerary.

Hello house

Please my brother visiting application for upcoming graduation in November just got denied due to the reasons below…

• I note you state you intend to visit the UK for the purpose of visiting family for 5 days.
• I note that you have provided information regarding your employment in support of your circumstances with reference to your business documents. However, open- source checks conducted, at the time of assessment, on the stated business, with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in your country of residence shows that the businesses you have provided are not registered or active. This damages the credibility your employment and therefore your financial circumstances in your country of residence.
• I note in the bank statement provided there shows large cash deposit credits not commensurate with your documented income in the time leading up to your visa application. For example, a large deposit of 1215000.00 NGN on 05/08/2024 There is no explanation provided regarding the origin of these funds. I am not satisfied these funds are genuinely available for your use and have been provided to you for the sole purpose of obtaining an entry clearance for the UK.
Your application is therefore refused under paragraph V4.2 (a) and (c) of the immigration rules.

Truly the company where he works haven’t clear their CAC annual payment which is reason why it is inactive and the large amount deposited into his account is from our late father estate tenant payment.

Pleas can I reapply for my brother immediately? And explain the large amount in a letter ?

Please I need advise because the Graduation is on the 16 of November

Thanks

Don't waste your money. Let him address the reasons why the visa was refused before he goes ahead to apply again.
First of all, let him go to CAC to reactivate his business status. His finances are another issue.

Let her wait until she feels she can resolve the issues that led to the denial of her initial visa application. Although you stated that you would be the sole sponsor, it would be beneficial if she could also submit her bank statement.

A co-sponsor is a joint sponsor, meaning that both you and she will pay for the trip.

@ Ashirioluwa thanks and remain bless

I want to be her full sponsor and my two children and we are going to submit are statement of account.

About the cosponsor can i say she will spending 100k? Cos I don't want her to spend much since am the full sponsor

She had started paying herself a salary of 300k as income from her job, right from this month and her disposable income will be 250k

my question is that, can she reapply after six months?

You can be the sole sponsor of your wife's trip. I am not saying you can't do that, but it will be to her advantage if she can prove that she has a job and if she can show her bank statements too.

Also, I want you to know that bank statement or money is not the only determining factor for a successful visa application. There are other important things to address too.

Anyway, since you claimed you have enough resources, why don't you guys apply as a family?
