Most of the team will play in next year u17 world cup in Morocco
Schemerkhiz:
This Set is giving the 2010 Trinidad & Tobago 🇹🇹 U17 set that gave us the likes of Fransisca Ordega, Jane David, Ngozi Okobi and Halimatu Ayinde..

At least the front 3 can play at the next U20 World Cup together if Nigeria have a proper structure on ground.

Moshood is definitely a Falcon Material, she can be branded into a great forward/ AM.

The Goalies…

Anyway sha I never for one day Gbadu shot goalkeepers, If you’re shorter than Alaba Jonathan & Tochukwu Oluehi is a NO NO 4 me!

Short and chunky goalies all the time. Can't we find fitter options to groom?
This is ridiculous!

I’m really really tired of this heavy, booty goalies.. Their Physique doesn’t determine their Capabilities though but We need tall, agile and very fit goalkeepers not heavy duties.

I will pick Linda & Omilana for grooming instead, Linda big and tall and she alongside Omilana have shown potentials. Linda physique is very intimidating btw the stick. This doesn’t take away their abilities of the Shot heavy goalkeepers called up but I’m still wondering what they say in these thick short ones🥹

What's the reason for the change?
Haven’t heard of any yet!

I would have preferred they just played both games at the Remo stadium as their field is much bigger than the Mobolaji stadium🏟️

How can a coach even open eyes and pick a short chubby girl as goalie?

Even as an athlete, it reeks of poor professionalism to be chubby cos you're been paid to keep fit and be in tip-top shape.

Whether we like to admit it or not, their physique impacts negatively on their abilities and performance

semid4lyfe:
You're correct.

I perused the squad list and picked out 12 yoruba names out of 21. That's far from 90%.
Well, I was judging by the starting lineup for the last game. 90% clearly.

I am happy the team is doing well, but I think the NFF could do better with scouting widely across the country. There are female talents everywhere especially in the South generally and Middle Belt. Widen your net past Lagos. The team will be better for it.

Let only the best be selected regardless of their tribe.

Kudos to them anyway.

Moshood could become an Arjen Robbenesque player if deployed to the RWF position and groomed there. She can cut in and hit those wicked left-footed cannons.

But since we have historically always lacked midfielders, I think it's better she is groomed into a no. 10 or 8 instead.

She's definitely the only confirmed Super Falcons material I have seen on the team.

Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by TheSuperNerd(m):
The entire midfield and attack have contributed beautifully to the goals run of the team. With even 2 Goal contributions from defence (Adegoke).

That 4-2 lineup of Animashaun-Afolabi-Moshood-Faridat [midfield] behind Harmony and Peace [attack] is so in sync and I pray they bring their A-game as a unit and as individuals.

Our defence will face their toughest test so far at this stage without doubt and we may have to finally see just how good and agile Uzoma is between the sticks as she has generally been on holidays in all 3 games of the first round.

The Adebayo(#6) and Ibrahim (#4) CB partnership looks decent overall in duels and hardly allow anything pass them but will have to be in top form against Barcenas, Ascanio and Long especially with their expected high pressing game upfront.

Our midfield will have work to do to curtail Kennedy Fuller's influence in the USA's middle game. It would be as tough for the USA too because they will be up against one of the most athletically sound midfield in the competition (Animashaun-Afolabi-Moshood-Faridat).

A very strong battle awaits all the same. I wish the girls the very best against familiar foes, USA.

Meet the new faces of the Super Falcons. Fresh talents joining the squad as they gear up for their International Friendly against Algeria.

There has been a change of venue for the upcoming international friendly duel between Nigeria and Algeria.

The first leg encounter initially billed for Lagos at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena on Saturday, October 26th, will now take place at Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne, Ogun state.

While the second leg meeting remain unchanged as the two sides will face off again on Tuesday, October 29th in Lagos; at Mobolaji Johnson Arena.

Chidi is heir to that super falcons No9 position.......I hope coach madugu is watching chidi and moshood and shouldn't be saying they are too young

With what have watched her play she will make a good RWF with AM as an alternate position for her…! The good thing is that she uses both feet’s effectively but her Left Foot is just too dope!!

I will say let them start giving her a gradual call up into the SuperFalcons.. If not for this U17 World Cup this kind of Friendly against Algeria she’s one of those we should be looking out for..!

These coaches are really abusing this privilege. That is the most silly foul review I have seen in this competition.
Lol I think it was just a coach trying anything she could to help her team.

I already said don't let Jose Mourinho see this type of system grin he would challenge once he sees his opponent gaining momentum cheesy

Like I told u previously, she should have gone to the U20 WWC. If it were up to me she would have at least been in camp for the Olympics

Okay.

Noticed most post match news from the nwfl don't add the age of players mentioned on their blogs, news, pages. It's a solid norm. Lol.

Chidi has potential but in my opinion still has a lot of development to do before being worthy of the Falcons. Especially in terms of physicality. Her smallish frame is a big disadvantage for a no. 9.

However, her ball control skills, passing technique and goalscoring instinct can lead to her being redeployed in another position as her career progresses. Either on the wings or as a no. 10. That would do her a lot of good.

I won't be surprised if they stall this set. Cos these girls have what it takes to enter falcons XI than Sebastine and Ajakaye at this rate.

Animashaun looks like Rofiat a lil. I hope she improves her all round game.

Their age is there but not made public in most cases except you’re going for an international tournament at any of the National team level or going pro Abroad.

Their Progress to the SuperFalcons will be better and more Smooth if the U20 team have a better Coach..

If it’s Danjuma forget it, he will definitely ruin things with is poor Coaching!

Zambia no go kpai us with these their intersex men-women o. See as woman face strong pass my own🙄.

Abeg FIFA needs to come up with rules to curtail this trend or natural-born "complete" women would soon stand no chance in the women's game.
