Deltamani:
Their age is there but not made public in most cases except you’re going for an international tournament at any of the National team level or going pro Abroad.
how old is Florence pls?

Deltamani:
Their Progress to the SuperFalcons will be better and more Smooth if the U20 team have a better Coach..

If it’s Danjuma forget it, he will definitely ruin things with is poor Coaching!
As much as i don't like two of them, I'll rather they go with the "better handler" of the two handlers-olowookere.

Its time they put a woman on that job. Ex-int preferably.

They didn't stall oparanozie , chiamaka, Ajibade, okobi, ohale, Oshoala, it's this set they will stall ... it's on this same thread people want to have waldrum head for not inviting flourish and Ajakaye and went for abiodun ....did you flourish or Ajakaye anywhere near the super falcons ?
daveP:
I won't be surprised if they stall this set. Cos these girls have what it takes to enter falcons XI than Sebastine and Ajakaye at this rate.

Animashaun looks like Rofiat a lil. I hope she improves her all round game.

She's only 14 she'll bulk up as she grows
WarHammer2000:
Chidi has potential but in my opinion still has a lot of development to do before being worthy of the Falcons. Especially in terms of physicality. Her smallish frame is a big disadvantage for a no. 9.

However, her ball control skills, passing technique and goalscoring instinct can lead to her being redeployed in another position as her career progresses. Either on the wings or as a no. 10. That would do her a lot of good.

Wow. 14 is crazy. Plenty of time certainly. I hope a good European academy snaps her up and grooms her for a bit before moving her to the main team like Villarreal did with Chukwueze.

To be honest, God bless you Basco. Seeing her on the world stage made me recall what you said one time before the U20 WWC. That you suggest her being called up for the U20s. And to be honest, seeing how the U20 falconets lacked a proper Number 9 (Okwuchukwu tried but isn't a proper 9 like Chidi), I must say you were absolutely spot on!!! God Damn!!! Chidi is possibly the best No 9 prospect I have seen for a while now. The one to truly continue the No. 9 tradition left by Oparanozie, Akide, Olaitan Yusuf and co.

BascoVanVeli:
Like I told u previously, she should have gone to the U20 WWC. If it were up to me she would have at least been in camp for the Olympics

Zambia no go kpai us with these their intersex men-women o. See as woman face strong pass my own🙄.

Abeg FIFA needs to come up with rules to curtail this trend or natural-born "complete" women would soon stand no chance in the women's game.
I Dey tell you, even in their U17 is still the same. Without these kind of players I don’t think Zambia stand any chance.!

Came through which yeye Danjuma?

Chiamaka and Ajibade were already top pick from the U17 level just as we are talking about Chidi and Moshood right now and they came through Coach Bala Nkiyu

I don’t see anything Danjuma did there…! How many Nasarawa Amazon players can you say Danjuma has produced? That are currently Stars in the international scene after how many years, Apart from those that got signed into the team after showing potentials from other Clubs.

Sarah Michael nko? Ahbi she wasn’t 9 enough? Cause she was more like the one Oparanozie took the batton from even though they played together on few occasions in a 4-4-2 formation under Coach Ngozi Eucharia.

If Barcelona fit snatch her and Moshood b4 now, I for happy. They’re good enough to play for their Team B and Grow from there..
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by TheSuperNerd(m): 5:35pm On Oct 24, 2024
Sarah Michael was good but very brief. This is why I didn't recall her. But the little time she spent in Super Falcons colors saw me liking her Number 9 interpretation.

The only sad thing was how short lived her NT career was.

stall by not doing the needful for u20 on the progress and development front. Yeah, they are good at that. Don't tell me you dunno how they flog the "wait for your time" drum.

As for the names you mentioned earlier, emergency was top reason for their promotion. You know this.

How many years did they stall Ajibade, nnadozie , Oshoala, flourish, abiodun , opeyemi , onyenezide , folorunsho, ayinde, njoku, okeke, okobi, ordega, oparanozie and many more ...all all this players came back from junior world cup and immediately got drafted to super falcons , those that performed well became a regular and others find their way

She's like Victor Osimhen. They are both stronger than they look. You don't see her getting bullied out there.

If Madugu win both games convincingly NFF will probably retain him to AWCON

God forbid bad thing… You think winning Algeria is the price? What will happen when they face Japan, England, France, Spain, USA and Brazil??

To me Madugu & Ann Chiejene have overstayed their welcome in the SuperFalcons.. Is time we get a better Coaching crew.
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 11:10am On Oct 25, 2024
Tenth cap.
Third start.
First international goal.

Alyssa Thompson is your Woman of the Match!

I just hope we get to see at least 1 or 2 teenager around the team very soon!

Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 11:14am On Oct 25, 2024
I don't see NFF get any foreign coach for now they can't even afford it .... So if they are settling for a home based coach who will be better than the man that understudy waldrum for many years.....

Remo Stars Stadium growing in status. One of the few stadiums approved by CAF for matches in Nigeria. I wish they had a better Stadium Structure and Capacity it would have been better since they have the best Artificial Pitch in 9ja right now..

The Stadium will host the Super Falcons friendly match against Algeria this weekend

I'll be wary of Denmark anyway. I watched their game vs World Champs and they gave Spain super big problems from start to finish. Brunn doesn't even act like she wants to score but keeps doing so. Swart or Dlamini. For where.

It's just the south Africa coach being too arrogant , she approach every game with same tactics...

Na why she go dey hang for international repute dey go. They got hype because we allowed them due to our careless approach at wafcon that year. Mtchew. Will she learn?
Im sha happy they're raking up quality friendlies compared to us wey dey play Algeria.

I'm looking forward to Ghana's re-emergence. They deserve it.

Surely a Careless approach from the NFF and majorly Randy to blame then cause he didn’t do his Assignment Properly especially from the Player selection aspect. His inability to get rid of the old legs on time came to play… Thank Goodness we now have Younger, Athletic and Intelligent Players in Midfield...!

With Sincerity our team B should beat that squad they used against Denmark… Imagine without 5 starters they struggle this much..

At least we can do without Ayinde, Plumptre, Okobi, Oshoala, Kanu and co on a regular basis because there’s squad depth..

Let’s wait and see what this Home based players will offer today. But again a better Coach is needed. Coach Madugu interview sounds as if he wants to market the Home based players for foreign Clubs instead of building more depth and gradually bringing them into the team.
