First of all, you’re not a useless person, you’re just addicted to something beyond your control.

There are people who have fallen deeper into addiction than you but they eventually pulled through.

This shows you are not addicted bro. If you were addicted, you'd be playing bet, watching porn and masturbating during work or better still it would have affected your productivity at work.


What is rather happening to you is that you are using those stuffs as escape zone. That means even if you stop doing them, something else would come to fill that void and could be worse such as drugs.

What I'd advise is to transform this escapes from coping to rewards. What that means is that before you play your next bet or watch porn or masturbate, make sure you have reached a milestone in a positive goal you set out for yourself such as learning a skill. Then you can reward yourself with a small or relative measure of your debauchery.

Also, note that improvement takes time. And would definitely actualize with consistency. That said, stay off any form of comparison. It would only make you rush, and you'd have to start again. Even if you win a large sum of money in your betting, you most likely would lose it if you have not developed a mindset of steady growth.
