If I am the current governor, I will not locate any project to that axis for now. Delta central were the governor hails from are the largest voting strength in delta state. All the governor need is to develop delta central and south and he will win again. I pray Anioma becomes a reality but if it fails, delta north will sweat to produce governor again cos it was out of pity it was zoned to them before. Let the Aniomas caution Nwoko cos it's statement will bring mistrust by the two other zones. Long before Ned submitted a bill for the creation of Anioma state , I did a thread here calling for Delta South and Central to be seperated from Delta north.

I based my argument on the growing shift in the demography of Delta state being skewed in facvor of Delta north owing to the mass migration and settlement of Ibos from across the Niger in to Asaba and environs.

I warned that this will not sit well with the gentleman rotational agreement between all tribes in Delta if this migration and settlement continues.

I thank God that Ned's desperation to become Governor by all means has driven him to push for Anioma state and to even yoke it to SE zone because as things are going, Delta north especially Asaba will soon become overwhelmed by Ibos from across the Niger.

Tell Ned to do fast with his Anioma bill so that there won't be any confusion or talk of dragging the rest of Delta as Ibo land and into your Biafra project.

Was this not how present day Abia state became an Ibo territory after the Ibibio people allowed Ibos to settle amongst them only for the Ibos to wage war and take the entire Abia to become an Ibo territory ?

These state governors take humongous money as allocation without touching the lives of their indigenes, we pay too much attention on the Federal Government.
Suddenly, states that couldn't pay 30k minimum wage are pledging to pay 80k as minimum wage.

The irony here is that Delta South and Central are the provinces that are the economic power engine of Delta state.

Not one single person from Delta South and Central has opposed Ned's clamour for Delta north being carved out to form his Anioma state and from there join his brothers in SE region.

This is the same Ned who critisized the current governor for maintaining a Governor's lodge in Warri and embarking on projects in Warri and Delta South . For the likes of Ned, every project must be cited in Delta north - Asaba to be precise. He wants the state he wants to bulkanize to still be developing his Anioma state until he gets it.

I observed it too, house rent have gone up astronomically in Asaba due to the economic migrants from SE. Insecurity have driven many of them to Asaba.
Very soon they will be treating Anioma people like Ebonyi people.
Okowa had to forcefully stop their nonsense Monday sit at home in Asaba.

This is so much money that can change the state. Someone needs to call him out. There's nothing in delta state to show for this huge money. We get the biggest allocation yet we are just mediocre, states with smaller allocations are doing more. Other states have announced 80k+ minimum wage but our governor dey there dey do face like rain when wan fall.

Most of Abia and Ebonyi were Ibom territory .

Until Anioma State is created, the governor is binded by law to develop the State Capital which is not Warri.
