Good day everyone, This is my first UK visa application. I received my refusal letter a few days ago. I have never been out of Nigeria and I am trying my best to disvirgin my passport. I applied for a visit visa. I chose to include a close friend of my first cousin as my UK host. My mom, my first cousin and her husband who is a USA citizen, all chose to sponsor my visit. In the refusal letter, I don't see anything about my sponsors. I included pictures of us all together, affidavits, letters and bank statements too. Please, what did I do wrong and how can I correct it in later visa applications? Thank you.

Pgree:If you read the refusal letter paragragh by paragraph, you woul see that you stood zero chance and made a lot of mistakes. The letter speaks for itself Using personal account for business business not generation enough funds No family ties to Nigeria Business probable not doing well, due to the situation of the country You also do not own any property You also did not show your relationship with the people you claimed are sponsoring you. The matter long gannnn |

Pgree:Explained why you don't have a property? Why you have not traveled before? The odds were against you. T The ECO took his/her time to deal with your situation extensively, which you need about 6months to 1 year to correct |

MelaninGemstone:I've never seen myself in this situation before, and from what I understand, uploading additional documents is not possible once biometrics have been completed. If you believe time is on your side, you can as well reach out to UKVI through the link below to see if there is a way to do this. https://ukvi.mysecurepay.co.uk/Home Or contact Tlscontact to see if they can help out. |

Pgree:Too many things wrong. 1. What do you need 6,500 Pounds for? It is too much! Max 1.500 2. What are three people sponsoring your trip? It indicates that you cannot afford to sponsor yourself. Big red flag 3. Your statements of account were all over the place. 4. No travel history 5. No assets in Nigeria Just leave UK alone for now. Go to other Countries that give visas with no stress. Maybe Dubai, Qatar etc.. |

Good Evening house, Me and my two children apply for a student dependant visa and did our biometric on the 30th September. We've gotten approval for me and my first son on the 10th October, the last one is yet to be out. Did a paid call twice and the response was it's still under consideration. Is it possible for the last one to be refuse? |

obabola123:Major issue is the source of the money in her account. Another issue is the source of the money she spends monthly. If you read this thread extensively, you will get a lot of information on what to do if and when you want to reapply. Good luck! |

I got an invite from a friend for 5 days and will be staying with him in his accommodation. I am a salary earner and I spend almost #300,000 every month on expenses. What amount should I put down as the total I want to spend on this trip? Since my friend is taking care of the accommodation and food, will this include the flight? I’m thinking that with the flight cost in Nigeria, this would be like all my monthly expenses for about 10 months. Please kindly advise; I beg, as I’ve seen refusals based on this, where the consular said it is not reasonable to spend such an amount on a 5-day trip. Please kindly advise. |

Oluwabusolamiii:My bad, I thought I saw conference. You can ignore my comments regarding conference. However your friend sponsoring with 800 HBO is still a no no. You can always add in the space for additional information that your friend would provide accommodation or cover living expenses including food. If you mention another financial sponsor then you'll need to provide evidence of that persons funds. Business reg docs are fine. However my advice pay yourself salary for 6 months and reapply after that |

Ewaoluwayemi:You've already said the advice. People are refused for this so don't bother |

Hi gurus @Cashmadam @gistelle @Ashirioluwa Please clarify me on this. Going through the form, under income and expenditure, the part that says "How much money do you have in savings?" (In GPB) as attached. Does this mean, all money one has in different accounts both in naira or dorm account but should be converted to GPB?

This TLS guys are pure evil If you want to use the assisted service with paying only ₦32,000 you have to book not earlier than 14 days to date of biometrics. They've deliberately blocked the date selection to make you forcefully pay ₦82,000 or more May God have mercy on us in this country |
