Thank you so much, I appreciate.

bullstriker:
Send an email to the school requesting to pay your tuition fee, and attach their reply to your study permit submission highlighting that the school will not accept payment until March.
You don’t have to do GIC, but it shows commitment
Using an ideal sponsor (father) is a plus, so focus on other aspects of finance, such as demonstrating reliable sources of his funds and ensuring no unexplainable lump sums.

It will be difficult to unlock it.
Possible Solution:
You can just create new GC key and link your profile by giving some information and you will be good to go.

Note:
Once you link the application to a new account, it will be de-linked from the old account.
Oh, thanks. God bless.

Please can anyone advice on this? I will really appreciate it

jayciekey:
Hi guys, please I need your input on this.

I am an international student in Canada currently taking a diploma course in a college. I started my studies this September 2024. I left Nigeria in August 2024. I want to apply for visit visa for my wife and daughter to be able to visit me while I am pursuing my studies. The intention is for them to visit me.

A little background: My wife had applied for visit visa in April 2024. The purpose of travel was tourism. In that visa application we didnt mention anything about my studies because I was still in Nigeria even though I had gotten my study visa. The visit visa was denied last month, October 2024. We requested GCMS note and that rejection was because the visa officer wasn't convince she has enough economies ties back home. it says the visa officer wasnt convince that she's financially and economically established in her home country.

We applied with 8m in her account and her employment letter as she earns 400k monthly.

Also to note that we gave birth to our daughter in September 2024 after I had left Nigeria. I left in August 2024.

Now I want to reapply for her and my child on the grounds that I haven't seen my child since she was born. So this time we are applying on the grounds that they want to visit me.

So this time I am inviting them to come visit me and we are applying with over 26m (14m in my own account and 12m in hers). I am thinking of adding everything I used as my home and economic ties to Nigeria in my study visa application into their visit visa application.

So my questions are:
- What are the documents I'll need?
- Can I apply from my own account or we apply from my wife's account? Or that doesnt matter?
- Do we need to do Health insurance for both of them (my wife and child)?
- Do we need Police report?
- For the invitation letter, do I just write the letter myself? Or is there anything I need to do to give the invitation letter more weight?

Basically, I am seeking advise generally on how best to put in this application this time. Thanks

You must select ECA Application for Agri-Food Pilot if you are applying for the IRCC Agri-food immigration pilot program. Unlike the standard IRCC ECA for immigration, the reference number is specific to the Agri-Food Pilot and the ECA specify your level of education in your country. For instance, the minimum education in this program is completing secondary school in your country, even if the equivalent is less than Canadian high school.
debbie126:
Good day house. Please, I want WES to evaluate my transcript for IRCC Agri-food immigration pilot, but I'm confused on which application I need to fill as I saw three options for the WES evaluation which I'll be stating two here
1. ECA Application for IRCC(For immigration purposes, select the Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) Application for Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)

2. ECA Application for Agri-Food Pilot(For immigration purposes, select the Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) for the Agri-Food Immigration Pilot.

Please, help on which to fill out of the two.
Thanks in anticipation

What did you study for your undergraduate? Did you graduate with first, second or third class? Year of graduation? If you are not a recent graduate, is the program related to your current occupation?

Is there a reason why the person wants to go for an undergraduate diploma and not PGD? I don't think age is a problem if the person can put out a very good application and has every of requirements.
Thanks for the response.

The person is also applying for PGD programs but has only gotten a diploma admission so far.

Very very viable. I mean who cares when you decide to further your education. As long as it doesn't look like you are scheming.
Thanks for the response.
I grab what you mean.

In your case, the red flag is your level of education and not your age. It is usually frowned upon when someone is going for a lower education level as it looks more like a program taken just for the sake of migration to Canada. However, you can address it in your SoP; the key is to give a strong enough opinion on why the program is relevant to your career growth. For example, how is the program related to your present occupation? Is the program designed to improve or update you on new market trends, new tech, and industry analysis? Are you getting a promotion that requires knowledge and skills in the proposed program? Like a puzzle, identify the gap and show the VO how the intended program fits perfectly.
Thanks for the response.
What if we don’t mention anything about the Bsc degree while putting up the visa application.

Please mention it ooo. I mentioned it in my own case and I was given especially if the Bsc doesn't relate to what you are currently doing and the diploma is related to what you are doing.

Search for Nigerians in Ottawa on Google and you'll definitely see an Instagram page. Click on the link to go to their page. You can send a DM to the page telling them you'll like to join their community. Hopefully they reply and they add you to their group. Good luck.

Good evening house.

My Dad's savings will complete my 52kCad POF by December (it will be his 4 months savings and bank statement like that).

1. Does he have to send that money to my own account before I apply for the study visa.

2. If he sends it, how long does that money have to stay in my own account before I can then apply for my Visa?

Thank you as I await your response.

I'm unsure if they take walk-ins, but you can book an appointment online, over the phone, or by email.

For online, use this link to create an account and then book the appointment.

The issues of availability and accessibility should not be a concern since the sponsor is your father. It can only arise if the VO believes the account was inflated for the visa application.
Don’t complicate a straightforward application

Okay, so what you're saying is that he doesn't have to send the money to my account B4 I can apply, right

There are no appointment slots available for VFS Lagos. Your only option is to go to the DHL office beside VFS Lagos office to submit your passport for stamping just like I told you the last time.

As a recent high school or secondary school graduate in 2020, do I need to write an SOP or LOE for my study permit?

And hope it's not a problem as I have some study gap from 2020 until now?

Both the Bsc and diploma are related, they are also related to my current work. The only strong point is that the diploma is more specialized than the BSc which was on a general field.

If you are submitting your passport in person, you do not need to book an appointment. You can walk into the VFS center in Lagos and submit your passport directly, especially if you have already completed your biometrics at that location.

If you also wish to pick up your passport in person, you will not need DHL services.
