In a statement on November 6, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump expressed his admiration for tech mogul Elon Musk, calling him a “super genius” and emphasizing the importance of protecting him. Trump thanked Musk for his swift response in deploying Starlink satellite service to North Carolina during Hurricane Helene in October, which he credited with saving many lives.

“He’s a special guy, a character, and he’s done incredible things,” Trump said. “We need to protect our geniuses; we don’t have many like him.”

Musk, a vocal supporter of Trump, has also shown his backing by donating $1 million to encourage voter registration for the Republican Party.
