What surprises me is that with the record turn out and lines wrapped around voting centers for days on end, the total number of overall votes is less than votes cast in 2020.

Simply put, Black people do not have the population to carry a majority vote. White people will always white people. And Hispanic people will always seek proximity to whiteness.

Anyway, I have had a terrible day because of the election result and I truly hope that Trump won’t be the disaster I expect him to be. If he is, I will gleefully say 'told you so'. I can live and work in more than a dozen countries on three continents and my job pays very well. I will be ok. I hope those who voted for Trump will be able to say the same.
