Fortuna Hjorring moved to the top of the Danish 🇩🇰 Elitedivisionen thanks to Joy Omewa's crucial goal in their 2-1 win over Nordsjælland. Omewa scored in the 42nd minute with a dynamic run and left-footed shot. She played 79 minutes before Samantha Kuhne took her place. The Nigerian forward has now scored 7 goals and provided 3 assists in 11 league games.

ekehopp2:Yeah… the main team should prosecute the game for sure but again some of the top talents in Midfield might not be available the likes of Halimatu Ayinde, Christy Ucheibe and Onyi Echegini… Deborah Abiodun have the NCAA Tournament on ground that’s if they get to the quarterfinals 29/30 of November.. |

Deltamani:Ok great. NFF dey cut cost against Algeria be that, knowing it would be a routine win. But those 2 overweight Goal keepers, backups to Nnadozie? Will they still likely be around for much longer or retire soon? Justin Magudu should look towards Faith Omilana and Linda Jiwuaku biko. |

Deltamani:Now this is what we are talking about. Good job by the NFF. Hopefully they can add another one. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 10:32pm On Nov 05, 2024 |
BascoVanVeli:Yeah yeah… Another one would make it great 3rd of December a good date since France is also playing Spain that day. We should go for teams like Switzerland 🇨🇭, Finland🇫🇮 or even Iceland🇮🇸… Iceland are a Physical, Tall and Fast side that would give us a good competition as well… Switzerland are being Coached by the Legendary Swedish Coach Pia Sundhage.. I Don’t know much about Finland right now, but it seems they’re on the rise again after going down sometime ago.. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 10:34pm On Nov 05, 2024 |
ekehopp2:We really need to look into the future side as well.. Faith Omilana, Linda Jiwuaku and foreign born goalies like Comfort Erhabor 🏴 and Medinat Lawal 21yrs 🇺🇸 can be look out for as well… |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 10:39pm On Nov 05, 2024 |
ekehopp2:I don’t even expect more than 3 to 5 of those Home based players in the Squad of 23players for this game, If Tochukwu Oluehi returns, then 1 goalkeeper among the HB will be picked which is Racheal Unauchukwu who Started the 2nd leg against Algeria… Any defender? Nop Ohale, Alozie, N Payne, Okeke, Demehin and Plumptre are all fit. If NFF want to cut cost as well they can just pick Maureen Umeh who’s based in France too.. In Midfield? Do you guys see any of them coming in? I can’t even pick one even though we still have Ucheibe, Echegini and Ayinde injured… the first two might be back on game management though… Upfront, Hattrick scorer Folashade Ijamilusi can come in.. But we have a bunch of our forwards abroad in Europe… Ifeoma Onumonu is in France, she should get in as well… |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 10:44pm On Nov 05, 2024 |
In Midfield the likes of Regina Otu, Esther Onyenezide, Amanda Mbadi and Favour Emmanuel should be there if Ucheibe, Echegini and Ayinde don’t make the team… Ajibade might be pushed to the midfield though… |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 10:48pm On Nov 05, 2024 |
Edo Queens list for the CAF Women’s Champions League… I really want to ask, how do this Coaches miss out on #21 Esther Inyang name for the U20 and SuperFalcons team… This girl is a bad Ass Midfielder. She can pull out the Alexia/ Aitana kind of play in Midfield..

Esther Onyenezide 🇳🇬 earned a position in the Israeli 🇮🇱 women's league Team of the Month for October, after delivering outstanding displays in midfield for Hapoel Jerusalem FC.

isan:Even at that Edo State Government have done well for the Club. If other State Government can do same it would have been more better, Edo Queens is the most Professional or should I say the Club that is up to standard in the NWFL, they’re paying equal with the Male side Bendel Insurance… |

daveP:In terms of Players Welfare and Salary this are the only Club I can boost of.. 1• Remo Star Ladies 2• Edo Queens 3• Bayelsa Queens 4• Rivers Angels 5• Nasarawa Amazons |

With Uchenna Kanu still recovering from a Knee Injury. I hope to see Rinsola Babajide make the team for the November Free Window.

Deltamani:All of them need to step up as regards facilities, bar Remo. That's why they need to carry it on their head. If nothing motivate them, the money should. The venue for the opening game for Edo Queens is too sleek than 95% of club venues in NPFL right now. Sad. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 10:50pm On Nov 07, 2024 |
BascoVanVeli:No nop… Hardly get to see their games only short clips from highlights. Will ask Karl for it. |

Deltamani:I still don't like that she missed the last. Shoot, I still don't like her missing the Olympics |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 7:18pm On Nov 08, 2024 |
BascoVanVeli:We’re hoping for the best for her anyway…. Hopefully she will slot in anytime soon because we need good competition for our players in the SuperFalcons… |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 7:35pm On Nov 08, 2024 |
I will say Uchenna Grace Kanu is the SuperFalcons forward who hasn’t Played up to the Standard we thought she would be right now… Ajibade look the most improved.. I will continue to say it that Kanu is very much the most Complete forward we have till date but still haven’t done much in terms of her ball playing even though she averages at least a goal in 2 games for the Falcons.. She’s Fast, Skillful, Uses both feet’s effectively, Very good in the Air, can Press and Defend as well. But really need to up her game cause Ajibade remains our no1 pick upfront.

Our so called African Didn’t even consider Lookman in their top5 in their Votes 🗳️ even when it was obvious that he’s one of the best in the World and the Best in Africa…! How Africa Voted Poorly for Lookman 👀 The Ivories are our true friends and definitely not pretenders, same way they voted for Osimhen last year, real friends you are Ivory Coast,we love you guys.

| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by emeka123123: 1:48am On Nov 10, 2024 |
Playing time Onumonu and Oshoala had been getting even when they weren't up to scratch may be part of why Kanu hasn't really impressed enough. She has to exorcize those demons! TheSuperNerd: |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 12:49pm On Nov 10, 2024 |
emeka123123:I think Randy should be blamed as well cause he wasn’t consistent with his trios upfront.. Unlike Florence Omagbemi, Thomas Dennerby who were consistent with their trios upfront and know their regulars, when to make 1 or 2 changes and they were still delivering then.. Randy was always tinkering with his trios upfront since he wasn’t certain about his starters and those to come from the bench. He was only consistent at the World Cup with his Starters the rest he was on and off… Today he will combine Oshoala, Ajibade, Okoronkwo, Onumonu, Kanu, Ordega and even played some out of position even in Midfield… |
