I made a mistake yesterday and the saffron ( all in strands) I held all fell into the cooking pot as I was trying to separate the strands. I couldn't save them...I just watched as the melted and turned overly orange.

Such as expensive spice.

Yes. Just Temporary duty for a few years. So I’m split between California and Germany for the next few years.

It’s different .Very green (love). And cold (also love).
Travel is easier. Food is good at the restaurants.
Lots of pros.

But there’s too much German sternness in the air. I don’t know how to explain it. Or maybe I’m just homesick
