In the the prescience era, their arguments carried a lot weight, mostly because proof or evidence was not a requirement.
In the modern scientific era however, goddists have struggled to explain the existence of their particular God in the face of numerous advances in knowledge about the universe, our Earth and biological life.

So these days, the Religious folks have to do quiet a lot of logical acrobatics, mostly absurd fallacies, to justify their faith.

On this particular forum, non believers have been asked several times to prove that God does not exist.

Well, even though it is the responsibility of the believers to show proof of the existence of God, the nation of Nigeria does make a compelling case ,in fact, absolute proof, that God does not exist.

This is a nation of 200m+ people who expend the most time and energy to worship and pray to God.

In my 50+ years of life, no single prayer has been answered in Nigeria and for Nigeria.

Despite our absurd fixation with religion and our religiosity, Nigeria can best be described as a God-forsaken nation.

When will it become conscious in our minds that whoever sold us this grand bogey, has left us holding the bag full of desert sand ?

How long shall we continue to carry this bag of desert sand ?

Highlighted shows you're just assuming things without a thorough investigation into the matter {Psalms 10:4} i have discovered that in most cases when critics (atheists) want to talk about God their only focus is comparing what the Bible says with science claiming since these things can't be scientifically proved they are lies.
The Bible is not a science textbook it says a lot about unseen intelligent beings living around us so when these unseen beings operates you can't just conclude that you must see them perform things the Bible said they did in times past before you agree they exist you will continue to demand for proof of their existence while those dealing with them ignore you and whatever you think about them.
As for science intellectuals have come to the conclusion that they can't say God doesn't exist.

The Bible was written thousands of years ago before modern day scientists began finding out so many things this book says which surely sound odd during the time it was written.
I will give you three instances.
The book says that God hangs our planet home (earth) upon nothing {Job 26:7} as at the time Moses penned down those words nobody living could agree with him that our planet home as huge as it is can be suspended floating without anything supporting it in fact scientists of his time said a lot that makes sense far much more than what Moses wrote but today you and i know that Moses the man who lived some 3600 years ago is right on the matter.
The book also talked about water circle how it evaporates from the earth, condensed and fall back to the earth as rain {Job 36:27-28} please how did Moses knew all of that back then?
The book also talked about the exact shape of our planet that it's spherical (round) when most people back then thought it is flat! Isaiah 40:22
So who was giving these people the accurate information if there is no unseen intelligent beings?
You said Nigeria is a proof that God doesn't exist yet you don't know that as big as this country is the worshipers of the true God are less than 500,000 so what impact do you think that number can make in the midst of over 200,000,000?
