It pains me that many people who claim to be Christians don't actually know what it means to be Christians.

They have zero knowledge of God, always partnering with the devil to cause problems in the name of God.

I pray for them, that they come to know the Father, and his son Jesus Christ, and who they are in him.


I went out preaching in a neighborhood some times ago, and I met a lady. She was on the phone, and she sounded pretty upset.

I waited patiently for her to finish with her call, then I asked her what the matter was.
She responded that it was her useless sister who was hell bent on bringing shame to the family name.

How so? I asked
She told me that the sister had gotten pregnant out of wedlock and gave birth to a boy more than a year ago.

That ever since then, she has become more wayward.

Infact it has gotten worse. For the past 3 months she has refused to come home. She is living with a boy, very soon she will bring back another pregnancy. She narrated.

I could hear her mother from inside yelling and cursing the wayward daughter for wanting to bring more shame to a whole women's fellowship president in church.

And it dawned on me why the supposed wayward daughter ran away from home to live with a boy. (Assuming she is even living with a boy)

No body can grow in that kind of environment. Nobody can feel comfortable with that kind of environment.

I mean, every time you are constantly reminded of your mistakes and your past.

You can't step out for 1 hour, you will be reminded of your illegitimate child.

And these people are supposed to preach forgiveness and reach out to sinners...

I am not saying Christians should tolerate wrong doing ooo. But should we throw away the baby with the bath water?

I just looked at the sister that was ranting. This one sef may have done several abortions.

If God were to treat us all like that, who for still dey alive?

We all have our own flaws. We all make mistakes.

Its when you come to God he will show you how it came into your life(roots) , how it started operation, administration before manifestation!

He was delivered.

I have a roommate who was born from an illegitimate love affair.

The mother hates him for the mistakes that she made, claiming that his father deceived her.

There's stigma for pregnancy before marriage. It creates some distortion in normal journey of life so most parents shun it. Larger percentage of kids out of wedlock aren't receiving prosper care. That's what parent/guidance are preventing by proxy.

You expect parents to cheer a daughter that got pregnant outside wedlock? Do you know what they gave up to see her succeed and all she could pay them back was to spread legs and got pregnant. That pregancy could have made her skip or quit school and also reduce her worth in the marriage market thereby extending her dependence on her parent's limited resources. I understand forgiveness but if you have never been greatly disappointed by someone you invested in before, never you condemn someone in those shoes.

There's nothing that I hate in this life than hasty generalization(s) toward a group of people, organization or institution that are MAJORLY GOOD AS COMPARED TO OTHERS(in the same category).

It makes you come off as a standalone overly righteous person that is worse than anything. When you understand that everything has imperfection, then you will be mercifully and graciously appreciative when you find "gems"(people, institutions, organizations, etc) that are MAJORLY good compared to others, and as such you will know how to word your statements or generalizations.
