GrasstoGrace:Did the embassy contact you regarding deferring your start date to January, or have they sent you any email at all? My application also arrived at the embassy on September 2nd |

To Ace your Duolingo test visit YouTube, watch Duolingo test videos from (last minute English) he is a good tutor, also download DET app practice as much as you can, Secondly pls get a WiFi for your test, make sure the internet connection is stable, because once the internet connection is bad your exam page can close up half way and you'll need to start all over again it can be tiring n frustrating.. Goodluck |

They sent me an email 2 weeks ago to confirm my own date of resumption. Did they reach out to you? Did the embassy contact you regarding deferring your start date to January, or have they sent you any email at all? My application also arrived at the embassy on September 2nd[/quote] |

Jkoromo2700:Nah, but I think it’s because I reached out to them first and sent my new offer for January. Did you email them before they contacted you? And when did your application actually reach the embassy (not just when you submitted it)? |

I will be traveling to Ireland December for studies (January intake), so I’m trying to secure apartment. I’ve already gotten few (2 rooms, both en-suite), but I am currently looking for someone to share with. Reach out to me if you’re interested! |

Hello, please how were you able to reach out to them first? I omitted a document (Summary of Finances) the day I had my appointment, but couldn't find a means to submit it afterwards. aladdin29: |

They reached out to me without any prior communication. Per VFS tracker, my file got to them 2nd of Sept, even though i submitted my biometrics Aug 8th. aladdin29: |

Jkoromo2700:Wow, VFS really did you dirty there; they did a lot of people dirty. I’m lucky—I did biometrics on the 26th of August in Lagos, and it arrived at the embassy on the 2nd of September. Did you do biometrics in Lagos too? |

Emekaaaon:Getting someone to share shouldn’t be an issue. Housing a Dublin is indeed tough and expensive. Also you need look at where in Dublin you would like to live- south or north Dublin. Most people prefer the south Dublin, although some areas in south Dublin are very expensive. There is a housing group for people in Dublin, I can send you the WhatsApp link. If from Nigeria and you’re able to secure an appointment to view an apartment in Dublin, I would say you’re lucky. Again, getting someone to share a two bedroom en-suite apartment shouldn’t be an issue depending on the area of Dublin and cost. Let me know if you’ve secured a viewing appointment in Dublin, most especially south Dublin. I would advise you to narrow your search if you want to live in south Dublin to D14,16,18,22,24. Except you have enough money, you can look around D2,4,6,8. |

I think dbs is in D2, please for someone applying for dbs, Dublin Business School, is it advisable to look for accommodation in south of Dublin considering distance. boneruns: |

ezejicc:DBS is around the city centre, you can get any bus in Dublin to city centre, and take a walk to DBS. But most people prefer to live around south Dublin, although rent can be expensive. If you’re coming new and don’t have option, you can get somewhere even in north Dublin to at least settle in. Honestly getting an apartment can be difficult. |

ezejicc:You can get cheaper accommodation outside Dublin. But if you’re single you can get a bed room in a shared apartment. To search for apartment you can check www.daft.ie. Send me a PM I can share with you link to Dublin house search WhatsApp group. It’s Nigeria WhatsApp to advertise and search for house share. Have you gotten your visa yet? |

Has anyone been able to change visa category after application and documents have been submitted? Someone just asked me if it’s possible by sending an email to Abuja embassy stating the mistake and correction, because while completing the application form that there was an oversight and they couldn’t see that category on the dropdown menu. |
