Hydronium:You measure both, multiply the values gotten and that gives the watts the panel is sending out (multimeter readings, amps * volts), if you get something like 400/450 during peak sun hours then your panel is fine. I mentioned to toggle the setting to SOLAR CHARGING because that's how to tell the power station what the input is (car charging or solar panel), on river 2 pro there are three DC charging settings, AUTO, SOLAR, CAR. You sure have something similar on the Delta, try playing with it on Auto and then solar, see if anything good happens. |

BigDickProblems:I got his 768wh system yesterday with 2 units of 190w solar panels and 1000w inverter. After they installed and left my house around 8pm I used it from that time till 11pm when it went off. I had these appliances on within 3hrs frame with 13.2v charge on the battery. Airtel 5g router 24W Desktop charger with 4 charging ports charging all my gadgets at once. 65w Qasa Ac/Dc ceiling fan 27w Qasa Rechargeable standing fan ( charging only not working) 10w at most. What do you think?

fuckboys:Okay, I think that is really close sha. Is it the type that came with UPS? I can see 37wh on the battery. |
| Re: I Bought This Powerbank For 1.2 Million Naira PHOTOS by twosquare(m): 2:33pm On Nov 17, 2024 |
fuckboys:I found an explanation from AI. ----------------------------- QUESTION: Okay. I saw 12v 2A (external power) on the charger/UPS that came with my router; then the battery 7.4v/5000mah (battery), 37wh. What's the meaning of all these? ChatGPT said: Let’s break this down: 1. 12V 2A (External Power) Voltage (12V): This is the electrical potential provided by the charger/UPS. Current (2A): This is the maximum current the charger/UPS can deliver to the device. Wattage: Using the formula Wattage (W)=Voltage (V)×Current (A)Wattage (W)=Voltage (V)×Current (A): 12V×2A=24W 12V×2A=24W This means the charger/UPS can deliver up to 24 watts of power to the router or other devices. 2. 7.4V/5000mAh (Battery) Voltage (7.4V): This is the battery's nominal voltage. Capacity (5000mAh): The battery's energy storage capacity. To convert to amp-hours (Ah): 5000mAh=5Ah 5000mAh=5Ah Watt-Hours (Wh): The total energy the battery can store, calculated using Wh=V×AhWh=V×Ah: 7.4V×5Ah=37Wh 7.4V×5Ah=37Wh So, the battery stores 37 watt-hours of energy. 3. 37Wh (Battery Label) This confirms the battery's energy storage capacity as 37 watt-hours, matching the calculation above. This means: The battery can power a 37-watt device for 1 hour or a 7.4-watt device for 5 hours, etc., depending on the load. What Does This Mean for Your Router Setup? External Power: The router uses a 12V power supply capable of providing up to 24W. This is when the router is running directly from the charger/UPS. Battery Backup: When unplugged, the internal battery provides power at 7.4V with a capacity of 37Wh. The battery's runtime will depend on the router's wattage. If the router consumes, for instance, 10W: Runtime on battery=Battery Capacity (Wh)Router Power Consumption (W)=3710=3.7 hours. Runtime on battery=Router Power Consumption (W)Battery Capacity (Wh)=1037=3.7 hours. Let me know if you need further clarification! -------------------------------------------------------------- My observation: the router may consume less based on battery power usage because it lasts more than 5 hours when fully charged. |

| Re: I Bought This Powerbank For 1.2 Million Naira PHOTOS by fuckboys: 2:58pm On Nov 17, 2024*. Modified: 4:30pm On Nov 17, 2024 |
twosquare:I met the guy who helped unlock it here on Nairaland. He also has a YouTube channel and did it remotely while I gave him access to my PC. Yes from the chat gpt, the UPS made the router energy efficient enough cos it won't draw 24w at all time when plugged. Infact 24w is it's peak charge. So when the ups is anything above 70-80% in battery it's less wattages it needs. |
| Re: I Bought This Powerbank For 1.2 Million Naira PHOTOS by Nobody: 3:17pm On Nov 17, 2024 |
fuckboys:Wow! Great. 13.2V is not fully charged. I had the same experience the first night after installation and i didn’t mind because I wasn’t sure it was fully charged. Besides LifePo4 batteries attains their max voltage at around 14.4V to 14.6V. So when charging, make sure it exceeds 14.0 and above until it enters the float voltage at 13.6V and above. Allow it to settle for like 10mins and then turn it on (this is what I did). At this point, be sure to do the load testing calculation and see if it’s as advertised by him. But I’m pretty sure you’ll be glad. Congrats. I actually wanted to go for this model but the money was just too much 😃 (He said he I can always come for an upgrade though). If this message came earlier I would have really loved for you to do your load testing at this recommendation and post the results here. |

Babatundehy:Hi, I appreciate the nuggets you have been dropping on this thread I have a river 2 pro which i've been maximising by using type c port to draw dc output. I would like to know which dc fan you are currently using. Mine is currently an AC powered one which kinda sucks Also, do i need anything else asides from mc4 to xt60 cable to connect the station to solar panel? |
| Re: I Bought This Powerbank For 1.2 Million Naira PHOTOS by Babatundehy: 11:42pm On Nov 17, 2024 |
snezBaba:I only use my AC motor fan with the grid electricity, the very inefficient ox fan consumes over 75 watts at top speed, almost the same power draw with my refrigerator, makes a lot of noise, I figured I'd need to get something much more better. The fan I use I got on JUMIA, you can find it in street stores too, CLOUD ENERGY AC/DC solar fan (non rechargeable), I got it for 40k, this fan is the answer, very little noise, can be remotely controlled and at top speed it consumes only 11 watts, it runs almost 24/7, and the motor housing never gets even warm, it is a super fan lol, it comes with a DC cable, and also an AC adapter. Yeah you'll need an extension cable from the solar panel ( on the roof) to your apartment, where you connect its ends to that of the mc4 to xt60 cable, the MC4 to XT60 cable I got was sent defective, the MC4 female connector was broken, the solar guy who installed for me just cut the ends of the mc4 Part of the MC4 to xt60 cable off, and connected it to the extension cable coming from the solar panel with the use of a 63 amps change over switch, i didn't need the ends after all, the extension cable i got has a diameter (thickness) of 4mm ( double core 4mm flex), distance from my panel to the power station is about 10 metres, so i got 11 yards. |

| Re: I Bought This Powerbank For 1.2 Million Naira PHOTOS by Debroslink: 6:36am On Nov 18, 2024 |
snezBaba:Don't buy cloud energy dc fan from jumia, it's more expensive. Type the name of the fan on Google and enter their eshop website. It's way cheaper and delivery option is available. |

Babatundehy:And here I was thinking my delta 2 is limiting current because I cut off the MC4 part of my xt60 cable... I'm still getting max of 270watts from the 550watts panel. |
| Re: I Bought This Powerbank For 1.2 Million Naira PHOTOS by Babatundehy: 10:56am On Nov 18, 2024 |
Hydronium:That's definitely not the reason your max solar input is that low, I even played with mine a little, I took out the car charging cable ( one with the xt60i connector) and then plugged it into my river 2 pro, I then took the wires coming from the solar panel and connected it to the terminals of the part thats supposed to go into the car's cigarette lighter port, it worked and I still got the same max input of 220 watts (after changing the DC mode from car charging to solar charging), I think the xt60i ,that extra pin, just tells the power station hey you could be connected to a car don't draw more than 100 watts. Check what your panel is actually outputting using a multimeter, that's how to be sure you have a good panel. |

BigDickProblems:I'm currently in total darkness as we speak. My inverter got burnt yesterday afternoon. I called josh and he said it probably got burnt from excessive current from the solar panels. They're getting me a replacement today, so I'm still waiting for them. |

Good day, I have a Delta 2 with 2 units of 300W solar panels, however l get a maximum of 220watts. The solar panels are not side by side, one is on one side of the roof whilst the other one is on a different side. Do you think its better if l place them side by side? Babatundehy: |
| Re: I Bought This Powerbank For 1.2 Million Naira PHOTOS by Nobody: 2:03pm On Nov 18, 2024 |
fuckboys:Oh man. So sorry to hear this. How did that happen? When I have my inverter beeping was when the power was low, and when I had my battery type set up of my PWM at “5 to 3.2”. Initially, whenever the voltage is approaching the maximum, my inverter starts beeping with an “E12 error”. At that point I usually will turn off the inverter and disconnect my solar wire from the controller and leave the battery connection only. I did a research on this since Josh couldn’t mention a feasible cause for this “except that he said it’s high Voltage and I should disconnect “. So I later realized that it is from the battery settings on my PWM controller. I had to change the battery type to “4 to 3.2” and ever since then, I haven’t encountered the issue of my inverter beeping which denoted an issue. Moving forward, even after they change the inverter for you, try to set the battery type settings on the PWM controller to the appropriate “4 - 3.2” for a LifePO4 battery. You’ll be fine. |
| Re: I Bought This Powerbank For 1.2 Million Naira PHOTOS by Hydronium(m): 2:06pm On Nov 18, 2024 |
Babatundehy:You're probably right that its something to do with the panel. Incidentally the multimeter I have can only measure AC current. but the top voltage I've measured from the panel is 37V when the power output is 250W. So I calculated the current to be around 7A. I guess I'll be needing a new panel soon as my average load during the day is around 350W. |
