The VIO here as at 2014 are not to operate on Sundays, but shockingly when I was doing motorboy, we'll see them on the road, usually in bend corners where you can't escape.

Many times they took us to their stations but my Oga na fully organised agbero man too...

He'll swear not to give them a dime and we'll stay with them till night (after we have delivered our goods) before they free our car 😂😂.

We later became friends with them Sha. Today I am a pastor after four years in Seminary.

Though this is a boundary area between Ogun and Lagos, the scene of this accident is in Ogun state, I don't know why Ogun authorities have no presence in this part of Ogun state that it's Lagos state police and Lastma that are still on ground in this area. The Adigboluja police division that handle the evacuation is under the Ogun state command though

Exactly my thought too. Does this imply that the state government is implicit in the chaos and menace of those touts on major roads of the state harassing trucks and other commercial vehicles?
How will a truck be responsible for hitting a person standing on a major highway such as the lag-Ibadan Expressway? Is it not illegal in the first place to cross that road not to talk of stand in the middle of a 5 lane expressway to stop a trailer. What if the truck has stopped and caused major accident?

If it hadn’t ended in a fatality, I would have said the tax collector got what they deserved. They’re constantly causing problems for motorists, creating a nuisance, and leading to accidents.

The government, especially the Lagos State government, is also to blame. Why haven’t they automated the tax collection process? It’s not rocket science! They could easily do it, but instead, they hand the job to thugs as a way to keep them appeased for the next election.
