Any update with POSSAP PCC. I had paid online but didn't get any email confirmation of payment or receipt. The view invoice link doesn't work and request status is still pending so not sure what is meant to happen next .

jelil01:
Hello,
Please, do you know if this is a general issue, for over two weeks now, i have been waiting for my PCC to drop.

Thanks

Hello Gisselle, cashmadam and other gurus in the house.
I am planing to apply for a visit visa for my wife and I have a valid visa to the UK. Going for vacation without our kids. The issue is she’s a housewife and has not travelled before and I will be fully responsible for the costs associated with the trip. I usually transfer money to her upkeep and the turnover in her account she just printed out is over 5million with balance of 150k for 6 months. Note no other income in that account apart from me. Also she has another saving account account with over 500k balance
1) how will I answer how much money are you planing to spend on your visit to the UK because she’s not going to spend her personal money as I will be fully responsible for the cost?
2) total amount of regular additional income that you get in a year? I transferred monies randomly as no fixed income.
3) total amount of money spend in each month? Naija situation make person spend money as need arises oo.
Kindly help see how to respond to the questions, once again my own available fund is very very sufficient to cover our travel

Thank you
Thanks house and Giselle for your response to the above. She was issued the visa.

Hello Everyone, I got a job offer with a UK firm in the Jersey island. I just want to find out how much is the Visa application fee or any other fees plus how do people source for the pounds use in paying. To pay for my Ecctis applications was serious wahala, I had to buy pounds from some guys abroad at an higher rate.

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by iyaoge24: 9:25am On Nov 19, 2024
Visa Alert!!! cool cool cool cool
Biometric capture and Passport submission: 30th November,2024 at TLS Abuja via Assisted Service( I couldn't get a bio-metric capture date with self upload service so I decided to pay for assisted service and allow them do the upload)
Arrival at UKVI Decision Making Center : 4th November, 2024
TLS Document Pick up sms: 18th November,2024

I applied for a first time 6 months visa. One week before I applied, I came on here and carefully read through this thread. I took notes and carefully noted on the reasons why others were denied, after reading through about a hundred pages, I began to understand that the most common reason is related to our financial statements and documents. I thank all the contributors for the immense amount of time and energy they put in to this forum. May God Bless you all.
For intending applicants, please read through, most times, someone has asked a question that closely relates to our circumstance and was given several suggestions and answers. Good Luck.

You are more likely to get a more informed reply on the UK Student Visa thread. This thread is more for tourist/visit visa information.

Breaking

VFS has taken over from TLS

Those of us that applied and yet to get a response, now need to follow up with VFS, not TLS again

I just logged into my application and redirected to VFS website instead of TLS Contact

How are we to pick our passport now? huh

On 19 November 2024, VFS Global becomes the official service partner for UK Visas & Immigration in Nigeria

With the VFS how can we track application? The track application button isn’t working
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by naivasha: 12:13pm On Nov 19, 2024
There is some information on this link from the TLS website. Maybe it will help.

https://pos.tlscontact.com/los_en/

It now makes sense why there were barely any free appointments at TLS in the last few months. Last minute cash grab.

Wauu, this is a major development.
So the UK and French embassies have both switched intermediaries.
It used to be VFS for France and TLS for UK but with this development, VFS will now oversee UK visa applications while TLS took over from TLS handling french visa applications for some months now.

Thank you very much.

This is where we all belong to

I am still waiting for a decision on my application. What will happen if no decision has been made before the TLScontact centre closes?

If you don’t receive a decision on your application before our centre closes, your file and any associated documents will be securely transferred to VFS Global. They will contact you once your travel document is ready for collection or dispatch.

I have already booked an appointment at the TLScontact centre. What should I do?

If you have already booked an appointment with us, there is no change: your appointment will take place at our centre, as planned. However, if you don’t receive a decision on your application before our centre closes, your file and any associated documents will be securely transferred to VFS Global. They will contact you once your travel document is ready for collection or dispatch.

What should I do if I can no longer access my online TLScontact account to upload my supporting documents or change my appointment?

You will no longer be able to access your online account from November 19th, when the transfer to VFS Global will begin. If you are unable to upload your supporting documents, or wish to change or cancel your appointment, but can no longer access your TLScontact account, please contact our customer service team.

Please note that Express Courier Return and UKVI Priority Visa services will not be available from TLScontact from November 19th onwards.

I dont have any travel history (virgin passport).
Like I said I went through this forum and noted important points, followed it step by step and it worked.
I submitted all the documents as required.......Bank Statement, Letter of Intro from place of work, cover letter stating I am only there for holiday and where I intend to stay. I didn't do anything special from what others on here that have been getting theirs did.
