Very good group

The Groups A, B, C together.
The SF are definitely garnering 9 points from that group.
But I don’t understand why CAF is still using the “WAFCON2024” hashtag when we know the tournament will actually hold in June next year
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by TheSuperNerd(m): 9:14pm On Nov 22, 2024
Same thing they did with Afcon 2023 held in 2024 earlier this year. Na dem sabi.

The tournament is for 2024, they only postponed it to 2025 so is still going to carry 2024.

Ghana is that team everyone should watch out for. But Nigeria should have a convincing ride through IMO. Talent dey. It is now up to NFF to give this team a great tactician. Many may be satisfied with how local coaches fared in tournaments this year, but i am not convinced since 2022.

The barest minimum for Super Falcons is final show. No 4th place again.

What a sweet belle e go be if Nigeria sweep both men's and women's trophy. Can NFf make that reality?

That would only happen if none of our foreign-based pros feature in that match

Yeah Ghana🇬🇭 is a team to watch out for, I would love to see them humble SA in that Group.. Is going to be tough, Mali have few of their stars in France right now and they’re very hot in form especially two of their Strikers playing for ( PSG & Fluery) ..

Is going to be a physical games in that group but the well Coached one should go through with SA & Ghana as favorites to go through...

Tanzania also have their own share of Higher Testosterone Players too especially that Clara Lavunga, If she plays then is going to be tough in that Group…

C, A and B in that order is the Strongest..

I wanted DR Congo 🇨🇩 in our Group though but didn’t come to pass.

Even if they want to include the Home based players for Inclusion sake, they shouldn’t be more than 3 because I don’t even see any of them worth the Bench talk more of Starting…

Imagine Edna Imade currently hot in Spain with an average team like Granada FC, 21yrs Joy Omewa currently the top scorer in Denmark 🇩🇰 with 10goals and 6 assists in 13 League games and overall 14games, 11goals and 6Assists in every games this season haven’t been considered but they want Home Based who hasn’t even impressed much from the CAF Champions League and other Competitions…

Going by their experience and performances these are still the top Defenders and Midfielders we have, Is there any one abroad or among the Homebased /U20 Squad that need to be picked ahead of this 6 Defenders??

Defenders
1• Osinachi Ohale, Mexico 🇲🇽
2• Blessing Demehin, Turkey 🇹🇷
3• Ashleigh Plumptre, Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦
4• Chidinma Okeke, Mexico 🇲🇽
5• Michelle Alozie, USA 🇺🇸
6• Nicole Payne, USA 🇺🇸

Midfielders
1• Halimatu Ayinde, Sweden 🇸🇪
2• Christy Ucheibe, Portugal 🇵🇹
3• Deborah Abiodun, USA 🇺🇸
4• Toni Payne, England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
5• Onyi Echegini, France 🇫🇷
6• Regina Otu, Turkey 🇹🇷

We still have the likes of Glory Ogbonna, Rofiat Imuran and the talented Favour Emmanuel based in Russia 🇷🇺
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 12:30am On Nov 23, 2024
This Favour Emmanuel 22yrs is one Defensive Midfielder we still need to watch out for… She got the Lungs just like Christy Ucheibe and a very aggressive ball winner in Midfield. She gets on the ball so hard like Ucheibe as well..

Nope. Your earlier assertion is accurate: realistically and based on purely merit, I don’t see more than 2 home-based players making the final squad for next year’s Nations cup.

I can tell you, with the Draw done and tournaments set for Mid next year. All the Players will be on their toes trying to perform high at their Club level to earn a Spot.

But again NFF are set on Continuing with Interim Coach Madugu instead of getting the team a Good Technical Bench… African Women’s Football don pass Kick & Follow ooo. Don’t take your chance first you will be hurt by a Small team.

Two Engine rooms of SA are in hibernating mode right now. Mothlalo and Dlamini. I dunno about Seope sha but this Ghana rebuilding in last 1year with all those high profile friendlies, I'm tipping them to top that group. Mali need to show us how they want to be taken serious anyway. Na that congo and Tanzania go be underdogs wey dey upset. I hope they're put in their place sha. Those guys dey fear me😂😂

I dunno why they didn't just let the wafcon be 4 groups. 3 groups is annoying. Best of luck to Ghana sha.

Both Nigerian teams in coaching debacle. I don't like it atall. Shows Gusau is not it.

A Big Catch For The Malian WNT🇲🇱

Teninsoun Liliane Sissoko Born: 2 September 1992 (age 32 years) is set to represent Mali internationally. As a professional footballer from France playing as a Center Back (CB) for Paris FC, The Experience Defender has been summoned to play in two friendly matches in Casablanca, Morocco🔥.

Mali Women’s National Team Squad is currently on the rise they finished 4th at the 2018 edition in Ghana, They currently boost of some talented and experienced names right now…

They have the Players to compete in that group C… South Africa and Ghana should better watch their back because that’s the group of Death..

See few of their Big names that Will be leading the team…! And there are some other talents in France Division 2 that I know of…

1•Teninsoun Sissoko (32yrs) Center Back, Paris FC France 🇫🇷
2• Fatou Dembele (24yrs) Center Back, UDG Tenerife Spain 🇪🇸
3• Agueissa Diarra (26yrs) Forward, PSG Feminine France 🇫🇷
4• Aissata Traoré (27yrs) Forward, Fluery FC France 🇫🇷
5• Saratou Traoré (22yrs) Midfielder, Fatih Karagümrük, Turkey 🇹🇷

With Sissoko joining them with her experience, she should pair up in Defense with Dembele who’s Monday Gift and Babajide teammates at Tenerife..

This is my Ranking on how they will Finnish in that group C, Mali to cause Havoc! Tanzania have fast threatening Players upfront with higher testosterone.
1. Ghana
2. South Africa
3. Mali
4. Tanzania

Mali have the standout players to do the job for them but their lack of Squad depth like the other two will be a problem for them, Bringing Nnadozie teammate at Paris FC shows their readiness to compete. Her experience will definitely help them a lot..
