That ₦44,000 appears to be passport delivery. Is that correct?
Yes it is.

So any advise on my current predicament?

Do I have to register for flutterwave?

Thank you very much. I actually provided enough proof that I’m still a student but they weren’t satisfied. Will reapplication be a problem for me btw?
davodyguy:
This letter is very straightforward.

1. How do you support yourself financially in Nigeria?
2. All your family members are in UK, meaning you'll japa and not return
3. Unilag didn't attach your GPA from previous semesters
4. They're not convinced that you're actually a student in Unilag
5. You've not travelled outside the country before, that shows you've previously complied with Immigration rules

Yes, it would be until you address the concerns

Try other countries.

Gone were the days people used UAE to disvirgin passport.

But our crazy Nigerians have made that route to close

Visa grant has now turned to prayer point. Imagine, when you apply you have to now fast and pray.

It is well

1. In my case I found Payment for the IHS/Visa from my FirstBank USD card was impossible. Payment kept declining and Bank kept giving one excuse after another and I wasted many productive days in that useless bank but after almost 2 months of payment declining despite having the funds in my account for more than a year eventually I closed the USD account sent the money back to spouse via Lemfi and paid with my Spouse card without any issue. I am not sure how others are paying maybe just a first bank usd card issue.

2. ECCTIS not required for UK degrees.

3. TB test cost varies based on where you do yours. I did in St. Nicolas in July due to proximity to work and cost 60k. Check others clinics below

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/tuberculosis-test-for-a-uk-visa-clinics-in-nigeria/tuberculosis-testing-in-nigeria

4. Chats I didn't provide as I had other stronger evidences. However as mentioned the aim is to demonstrate a genuine relationship exists over a period of time so 2 years should suffice.

Goodluck.

naivasha:
Hopefully @gerrald02 will also provide some advice.

In the meantime, here is what I have to say:

1. Let the spouse who is in the UK use his/her card to make the payment. That is what we did.
2. I don't know. I don't expect you need to but when you fill in the application and you answer the questions one by one, at the end you will see if ECCTIS is needed or not.
3. I am not sure where you are located, but I did mine at IOM, Lagos. It cost about 145k. They are expensive but they had the earliest available appointment dates compared to the other clinics where the UK govt has approved TB testing. If you have the time to spare, then check the other options. It should be less.
4. I don't think there is a straight answer to this; the objective is to demonstrate that you and your spouse have a subsisting relationship. In my case I randomly selected conversations over the last two years.

Hope this helps.

I just checked and TB Prices has gone up since I booked few months ago. #100k for 11years and above or 50k for below 11years (it was 50k/30k in July).

https://intranet.saintnicholashospital.com/uk-tb-screening

although they have appointments from the 1st of December for those in a hurry.

They also expect that you should show how your uncle made his money.

When did you submit your application?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Nkepedia: 11:32pm On Nov 22, 2024
I attached my Uncle's corporate account and personal bank account. Though I put the personal first then the corporate. The two inside on PDF.
His letter was in his company's letterhead. So he has to describe what he does for a living in the letter?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Nkepedia: 11:33pm On Nov 22, 2024
I submitted my application on 25th of October, then biometrics on 5 November at Enugu TLS

Yes, he has to.

British Visa officers like to ask for many things that others can consider irrelevant.

He would have explained what he does and source of income

Just note what the issues are

1. Your personal circumstances (explain deposits in your account)
2. Your sponsor
3. Your ties to Nigeria
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Nkepedia: 5:12am On Nov 23, 2024
Pls I'm sorry if my questions are too much but I don't want to bag another denial. I have actually made the application before I came across the thread.

The deposits in my account were small monies I collect once a week from my Uncle when I'm going to market to purchase foodstuffs for his family as the wife is banned from some activities due to health concerns. The reason I did this was to also prove ties. Then my own siblings sent little transfers which are monies they usually dash me. None of these monies were big as they were less than 100k or slightly above.

So my question now is, if I run my account clean, should I still explain the deposits in the denial?

Then for the statement, should I continue it or start afresh

About the ties, I explain that I have six of my siblings here in Nigeria and that my mum is widowed and retired. I explained that I live with my Mum and assist her a lot as we are fond of each got consent letter from her which I attached to a pdf with our pictures, my birth certificate and her NIN. I also put pictures of my siblings.

Whether your account is clean or rough, you need to explain

Ties here is talking about landed properties

Hi guys,
Please can someone help me! I did my biometrics at TLS VI this November and I got only an email from TLS that my application has been moved to UKVI to DMC for processing.

However, I got an email on November 19th that VFS has taken over the processing and appointment. When I tried to log into my account l, it directed me to VFS website where it shows that I should booked my appointment.

I did my biometric Nov 12th for a depen. visa and I don’t know if VFS wants me to book another appointment (because I noticed I am allowed to proceed with booking the appointment) or if I should ignore and keep waiting for a decision . I also don’t know if anyone has a similar experience with this.

Like shouldn’t it be showing me that my appointment is booked already and awaiting decision? I also noticed I am unable to track my application.

Ignore and keep waiting for decision.

The handover between TLS and VFS isn't complete yet, so you can't track.

Just wait for a mail from TLS when a decision has been made.

Do not book another appointment on VFS.

The landing page of VFS is not configured well yet, so it will be prompting you to book appointment

Ignore

Good day everyone.

I have been trying to pay for the UKVI application on gov.uk but I have been unable to make the payment. I keep getting error message that "The payment for your application was refused by your card provider. Your card has not been charged." And that it's either I don't have enough money or I put the wrong details and that is not the case either.

I have tried GTB, ACCESS AND WEMA cards and also an international Canadian card. All to no avail. Please how can I make the payment for the application. How are you guys making your payment via Worldpay?

Please help a sister. I really need to complete my application as soon as possible.

Thank you.

momomufasa:
Just the visa application itself.

See attached for the error message.

I was shocked. TLS was about 120,000 or less when I checked last week. Now its 200,000

For the Nigerian banks you mentioned, are they Naira Debit card that you're trying to use?

Yes all Naira cards

Naira cards don't work for International payments since over 3 years now.

Look for anyone that has a Dom account (£$€) load an amount equivalent to the amount you're expected to pay in USD and use that card to pay.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by carnivorouschic(f): 5:20pm On Nov 23, 2024
Okay. Thank you so much.

Please, when Im using another person's card to pay, do I have to put their address, and contact details as well in the bottom part of the worldpay site? Or can I leave my details there and only input the person's card information?

It's all the details if the card you're using to pay that you're to enter

Let's say your name is Cynthia, but the dollar Card you're using is that of Rachael, it's the details of Rachel's card that would be inputted

16 digits card number
Name on the card
Address (may not be needed)
Postal code should be the local government where you are in any state in Nigeria
3 digits at the back of the card
