Hmm, the person lives in the UK, if he can’t pay a marriage list of <£2k, he should please live the girl alone. People forget what the culture about bride price is really all about. It is a litmus test, it will test how deep your pocket is, and your negotiation skills. It will test if you are matured enough to handle challenges that consigns your potential wife and family. Apparently if the lady has a problem or a need of £2k , the husband may send her back to her family for help. I like what happened, if the man thinks he is being extorted , let him live the lady alone. Is better to discontinue at this stage than later, we will all be ok.
