TheSuperNerd:That's why i was reluctant to be definite about it. I wish we go such profile. We make do with what ee can. We however need our Bruno/Bernado/Bellingham Some u20 boys fit that profile but...... |

Kog45:It is not contradictory at all. TheSuperNerd is pointing out that Fisayo does not have the strength to play an individualistic game. His is not the kind of player that relies on individual creativity. I am saying Fisayo plays more of a teamwork and not individualistic play. With our style relying on individualistic brilliance, it does not suit Fisayo. |

TheGoodJoe:Our reference point is Lazio vs Bologna,so what make it different from Fisayo against Libya?.... He had woeful performance against Rwanda. DaveP asked a question after Bologna match, like the same Fisayo and your response was our style of play which i disagreed cuz he had similar performance against Libya that can be likened to Bologna match..... so coming in and scored against Bologna should not be used to negate our style of play. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 8:21pm On Nov 25, 2024 |
Victor Boniface on Man Utd's radar... not saying it would happen but him dey their list for sure. In the end, it would be Ruben Amorim's choice.

| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 8:29pm On Nov 25, 2024 |
Osimhen definitely is top priority for EPL teams scouting the striker market. Osimhen and Gyokeres are the most sought after Number 9s available right now to the Big 5 leagues. Kog45: |

Man Utd fans reacting to this Boniface link on X saying, "WE DONT WANT ANOTHER JOSHUA ZIRKZEE, we want a proper 9" No lies here, Boniface and Zirkzee are similar profiles as strikers/forwards. TheSuperNerd: |

Kog45:I don't have many things to say on Dele-Bashiru in the national team for now, because it's obvious he has not balled for us in the NT, he can't do all those creative work himself, he still needs an Iwobi on the pitch to function properly, the two times played Rwanda without Iwobi, he didn't do anything spectacular. The couple of goals he's scored for the Super Eagles are a case of being at the right place at the right time, he has not even started balling for the Eagles yet. He's a bomb patiently waiting to explode, with the right tactics and right style of play. |

Kog45:Why are you okay with TheSuperNerd's response and using a different lens from mine? I have said, there is no difference in what I posted and what he posted. So why are you so okay with his and still super analysing mine. I have said the responses, both mine and TheSuperNerd has to do with his performance. Not just come in and score. |

TheGoodJoe:TheSuperNerd did not analysed Fisayo based on our style of play but on his unique selling points which lacks creativity..... After Bologna match you said our style of play limits Fisayo abilities if i get you right. My point has nothing to do with come in and score but rating Fisayo performance against Bologna to negate our style of play cus it was the same style of play that made him performed against Libya..... and what singled out his performance against Libya and Bologna are the goals, nothing more. |

BankyGee:Yet to explode for Lazio too, meaning Lazio coach is not getting it right tactically on him? |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 12:15am On Nov 26, 2024 |
Kog45:You are eager to deviate TheSuperNerd's point from the fact his is talking about Fisayo's individual brilliance level. I have told you that it is the same thing because he is analyzing Fisayo from a performance base, which is the same way I am analyzing him. Then you will jump to Bologna goal. Let us stick to TheSuperNerd's point which you are okay with. It is totally based on his performance and not Bologna goal. Now he says Fisayo lacks creativity. I agree because that is individual game which our style requires. And that individual style of play which Chukwueze, Simon Moses, Chidera Ejuke thrive on does not suit him. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 12:17am On Nov 26, 2024 |
Kog45:When it comes to individual creativity, Fisayo does not shine because it is not his game but when it comes to tactical team play, I doubt our players can compare to Fisayo in it. Finito. |

TheGoodJoe:Are you saying it was tactical team play that played out against Bologna then what played out against Libya? |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Kog45(m): 1:29am On Nov 26, 2024 |
TheGoodJoe:More like competition in Lazio but in eagles it is style of play? |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 6:14am On Nov 26, 2024 |
Kog45: I have repeatedly explained that it is about Fisayo being poor in performance while playing for us. Not him scoring. The reason that he was poor for us is because the individual creative pattern of play our system demands does not suit him. Finito. |

TheGoodJoe:Sir i want to tell you that Fisayo displayed so far with eagles is not about our style of play cuz till date he is facing similar situation in Lazio. He just need to up his game just like what we are seeing with Lookman and recently Onyedika.... I hate giving excuses when it comes to national team football, you fit in or out. Eagles so far rely on indivudual creativity? |

Kog45:I really don't understand where you're meaning for this particular argument to land, but Lazio is not the Super Eagles, I mean, their logo has something like wings 🪽 but they're not the Eagles 😂 Jokes aside, whatever is not making the Lazio coach start Bashiru is his own problem. Bashiru is not a starter, but he has made his mark off the bench multiple times. Bashiru for Lazio Europe - 3 games (3 starts): 1 goal, 2 assists League - 5 games (2 starts): 1 goal Total - 8 games (4 starts): 2 goals, 2 assists You're making it sound like he has played 2,000 games and has not impressed. Even his starts, he has only played full 90 minutes ONCE since joining Lazio. If we're talking about his club side, he needs playing time, the Super Eagles is a different problem entirely. |

🚨 On this day last year, Victor Osimhen played a game without his mask for the first time since his horrific face injury! 😈🤕 He played against Atalanta, coming off the bench to assist the winning goal, canceling Ademola Lookman's only goal for Atalanta 🇳🇬😈

Kog45:Onyedika did not up his game. He just got game time. He was always good. I am not giving any excuse for Fisayo. From the first match I watched him, I pointed out he is a one touch player. If you are not playing one touch game in the offensive area, it is hard to see him shine. Do you think David Silva will excel in a midfield that throws long balls recklessly and aimlessly? You are making it look as if our game play is on the dot. It isn't. So it is not about upping game. |

Fisayo was nursing an injury(a knock) that kept him out of the Benin match, hence was not fully fit for the Rwanda game. A fit Fisayo would've scored against Rwanda. |

You see Raph and Fisayo, we need the both in our starting lineup if we are to win 80% of our matches, as we find it difficult to score in some matches. |
