nitrogen:INEOS have only overseen one window. Of all their signings Orobo is the one that seems to have disappointed the most. Mazraoui, DeLigt and Ugarte are all pulling in the right directions. If we get rid of the oldies- Eriksen, Case, bums - Antony&co, and bring in much better replacements, the squad would perform better - irrespective of who the coach is. It’s almost as if success is 60-70% about the right squad and the rest is on the coach. We’ve got too many underperforming players. Replace Casemiro with Ugarte or any other guy with agility yesterday and Hutchinson wouldn’t have scored that equalizer. We’re parading too many carryalongs, Rashy and Garna included. |

Leyqute:Makes sense. Although the jury is still out on these players given it’s a new manager and new system. I thought we were going to buy for the long term and fit for a particular strategy such that the players are not deemed bums anytime a new manager comes on board. |

odizeey:What happened afterwards is inconsequential here... He won the league at first attempt - he took the team from 10th to 1st place. Like I said earlier, this is being referenced because we are suddenly being made to believe that relegation places is okay at first as long as there is a "pattern of play" I muzz you o, I no muzz you o, it wouldn't change facts |

larride:He won the league by taking the team from 10th to 1st place with the same formation that we are being told to battle relegation with all in the name of "style of play". PS - Amorim has taken over a team that was 4 points from 5th position after 11 games |

Leyqute:I said this thing yesterday somebody de carry me go merry-go-round, most of the sucesses of coaches is dependent on the quality of players at your disposal, we were missing players that would have made a difference yesterday either due to late arrival from international break or returning from injury. Yoro, Mainoo, Ugarte, Shaw or even Maguire would have made the difference. When Ugarte and Shaw entered we took over the game. They talk as if Ipswich na one kind team you will just close eye beat, even Liverpool yesterday struggled to beat Southampton. Arteta was missing Odegaard and Saliba de thing show, Pep is missing Rodri and KDB and lost 5 straight games. Moreover, its not every time big teams beat the so called minnows, Inter in Seria A occasionally lose or draw with teams like Lecce, Venezia etc, Madrid nearly cut my bet agaisnt Las Palmas, if not for Vinicius dodgy penalty, they had no answer. But you want a coach, that just had 2 days training with bum players to win automatically because you are ManUnited. I watched Gaudiola's first game as a manager in Barca, he lost the first game to a bottom table team 1-0. Tuchel drew with wolves in his first game at chelsea at home. People go just wan de argue |

nitrogen:Mazraoui, De ligt and Ugarte are good Signings, Only Orobosa is proving to be a mistake. If we sustain this rate of signings for 4 transfer windows, together with promoting and integrating properly we will be good |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Leyqute(m): 5:45pm On Nov 25, 2024 |
nitrogen:Yeah, I agree. It’s just that old habits are hard to kill. Rasjford’s lack of intensity, no be today e start. But it’s become a habit now. Garnacho still has hope but there’s a lot of work that needs to be done. Case and Eeiksen will always crumble when they face a fitter midfield. So, yes, everyone is getting a new slate with a new management. But it’s only a matter of time before the old dirty habits rear their ugly heads again and cause issues for the team. It’s on Amorim to identify the weaknesses of those he can’t drop and work around it to win games UNTIL they are replaced, which shouldn’t take long. |

| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by adisaaowala: 5:48pm On Nov 25, 2024 |
Leyqute:This is common logic and perfectly within normal expectations at a top club but we are being told that the man is at liberty to carry the team enter relegation zone as long as he is stamping his "style of play" everywhere Nawa |

afrodoc2:I think we have good enough players. by that I mean they are better than our league position suggests. desire is another thing. Casemiro and Erikson pivot is definitely a fail regardless of ability or desire. their positioning was good yet poor mobility meant we couldn't progress through the middle. defensively it ensured gaps appeared there and was exploited. Amorim didn't shout much instructions at the pivot and I know it became apparent to him the pair was a mistake. he didn't want to make a first half substitution either, so Bruno adjusted nearer in the center circle. the coach was screaming more at players who could be more mobile but were taking easy options, particularly Rashford, Dalot, Amad and Mazraoui I wouldn't really read much into how the game went until probably after four games. he should have known individual strengths by then I hope. |

Ellexy:He also ensured CL qualification that season despite a tactical switch to 3CBs yet we are being told that we have to battle relegation before the players can adapt It is well |

larride:I am not expecting him to win the league this season and I have clearly stated this previously..even though this expectation is bottom level adisaaowala:1. Conte won the league with 3CBs immediately he took over a team that finished 10th 2. Tuchel took over a team in January, won the CL and finished 4th with 3CBs style 3. Conte took over at Spurs in Nov 2021 and qualified them for the CL that season with 3CBs - they finished 7th the previous season. Baba, the "relegation battle" we are being asked to be prepared to fight this season all in the name of "adaptation to style of play" cannot fly!! The good thing is that nobody has forced any tactics on any manager |

adisaaowala:It was funny how way they quickly abandoned their darling Flick and Slot. ![]() Now they want us to embrace struggling because of style of play. It's not going to happen. Conte did it with Spurs, Tuchel did it at Chelsea, Amorim must do it here oo. We support him ![]() |
