Scavenging Business Vs New POS Business by mickey4tutorial(op): 11:51am On Nov 26, 2024
Hello guys! I am already established in scrap scavenging business, I have my push cart and I make a minimum of N3000 per outing. My relations did not support me doing the business but I like the business because of it's profitablity, green nature and freedom of work.

Recently, my relations offered to open a new POS business which I am reluctantly doing. The POS business is not yielding money much as compared with the scavenging Business.

It seems they are forcing the business on me. Should I continue with my scavenging business and ignore their advice?

Continue your scavenging business, but because you're more enlightened, you can partner with @cyclexafrica. A company that deals with cash for trash, and make your cool money. Also look at scaling especially in green waste

1500 keh?

That 1500 is what I make on a single transaction in one of my shops..

Why you making 1500? Could it location or your capital that you’re using to run the business is not that huge?

Whatever it is, there’s superb gain on Pos business. Just find yourself a better location and you’ll be good to go..

You also have to be smart to avoid any negative matter to arise..

Can you get a young lad who will appreciate working with you on the scavenging business.? Teach him how to go about it, give him your cart and funds to procure metals when the opportunity arises. You take custody of the materials, sort them and sell to your contacts as usual and share revenue with him while you focus on the POS business.

You can also use Sundays to do your full time personal scavenging work if you are not a Christian.

Africa is a huge dumping ground so scavenging isn't such a odd idea. Electronic waste is there. Plastic is there. Fabric is there. Metals too.

Is he a sickle cell boy ? Find out his blood GENOTYPE not blood group. And find out his HIV status.

Sickle cell people and HIV people can be prone to it.

Hope he doesn't drink alcohol or smoke? If he does, let him stop it.

Take him to hospital, let him take LIVOLYN FORTE CAPSULE every day and also some antiviral agents a hospital will recommend for him.
