I messed up my life as a teen. I did not learn anything beneficial. I wasted all that time from age 16 engaging in vices, drinking, and fighting with people.

Now I'm ready to turn a new leaf and live like a decent human being.

But I still have many things to learn that I should have learnt all through those wasted years.

Everyone is looking at me side eyes, like it is time to move out and go to my own apartment.

I just started learning digital marketing and I'm waiting for my final year results to come out to see if I passed or not (I didn't do well during the exams because I was sick)

Yeah I had to. For U to even have the mindset of failure at just 27. I know some of my father's close friends he used to help out back then who later even became bigger than him today. A lot of the big names U see today never had it good. Not everyone is born with a silver spoon or had the capacity to make the right choices at an early stage in life. What's most important as a man is acknowledging Ur mistakes and shortcomings and learn not to repeat them while building urself up. Stay alive

Good that you have identified your fault and hopefully I are ready to make amends. Pick up what you have and figure out what you can do with it. Even if you no pass, life never end. The day you decided to change for the better is your ground zero, from there na up remain. Focus, re-strategise and move up

Keep improving on your digital marketing skills. Keep an eye out for opportunities where you can earn while you learn.

Also you can also look into books on habit change because our habits either help us or hurt us. I highly recommend Atomic Habits by James Clear and Tiny Habits by BJ Fogg

You lose the chance of turning things around only when you are dead.

You have already identified your mistakes and current state. Considering that alone, you are ahead of a larger percentage of people on earth.

Once a man can identify his faults, take responsibility for them, and is willing to put his legs on the wheels and make amends, he can transform his life for good.

1. Don't bother about your results if you fail. If you are opportune to write it again, do it well. Else, forget about it and move on.

2. Learn a skill that you can easily leverage. Don't fall for all manners of money printing skills. You don't have much time at hand.

How fast can you make money with digital marketing? It's possible to hit it big in a few months. But don't think you are the exception.

That's why you need a first skill that can pay your little bills as you learn another high-income skill by the side. Except you have strong pillars of support.

That first skill is not your aim. It's a survival strategy. It can be a blue, black, or brown-collar job. It doesn't matter if it's a menial or corporate job. Just do it to sustain you for the period you are learning the highly profitable skill.

I'm saying this because there are millions of people traveling the same high-income skill road with you. In order not to get overwhelmed by the process, you need something to help you along the way.

3. Life only ends in death.

That means the only thing that can stop you from achieving something good in life is death or ill health. Age is a lie (except for your depleting energy as you age, though).

Bro, if you are hale and healthy, you can reap plenty of harvests, provided you are ready to learn how to plant and sow seeds.

4. Stand on your ten toes. Be alert. Be active. Don't assume you will make it. Don't think one day life will become friendly with you.

Life is not your friend. Neither is your enemy.

How you maneuver life determines whether life will be your friend or your enemy.

5. Don't be an introvert.

Please, don't be an introvert.

You can't be poor and at the bottom of life and say you are an introvert.

Go out.

Make sure you are part of a community. Join a mosque. Join a church. Go to social events.

Please, learn to interact with people both online and offline. Always.

If you are ready to do the work, you will reap the fruits of good work.

You are not late to the party. Show us your dance moves.

Don't mind him, the secrets of wealth is available to all that wants on planet earth regardless of your previous shortcomings.

You are already doing well by learning a skill, must keep improving yourself and make a decision to quit frivolities going forward because money will come to you but what you do with it after that is what happens. You are young , pursue knowledge and skills and sooner than later you will reap

Some times are late, he is not late because he has all the time on earth to make amends but chat can't be said of a 60 year old.

27 is not too old to make amends or turn a new leaf. However, I see 25 as the best to learn from the mistakes of the late teenage years to early 20s. Nonetheless, the only tip I can offer is that anything you put your hands into, ensure you put in your very best and be consistent at it. You should not make a lot of mistakes, so learn and read from other people's mistakes. Most importantly, do what your head can carry/understand. This is no time to dabble here and there.

Digital marketing keh? Better go and learn customer service and work with a remote company, save some money, use it to open poultry farm then move up from there, don't be another drop shipping hobbyist.

U still got lots of time but start from somewhere then build your life up ,and again believe that you will make it.
