Thwaites, Armer, Kukonki, Mantato are promotions from within our academy.

I meant external intakes like Obi, Lusale, Plunkett, Overy. Only Obi has been consistently good. Plunkett had his first good game yesterday. Lusale has been really poor like you said. Overy has been injured.

About 5 of the coaching staff including the goalkeeper coach left with Amorim, it would be disingenuous to suggest there won't be any dip in form, the players will be affected by a sudden change in training method and tactics.

Squad rotation. Only Bruno, Onana and Mazraoui played 90 mins on Thursday.

Amad, Zkz, Rashford, Casemiro, and Dalot were subs. Mainoo didn’t play at all. And De Ligt and Martinez played for about an hour.

Midfield shall be porous tho. Everton are very fit and they work hard. A lack of mobility (and agility perhaps?) in midfield could be an issue.

But we wait and see.
